The first phase of the Monorail (Jacob Circle--Chembur), which became operational in February 2014, connects Chembur to Wadala. The second phase of the Monorail project which will extend the existing line to Jacob Circle via the GTB Nagar, Antop Hill, Dadar east, Lower Parel, etc., is under construction. It is expected to be completed by March 2015.
