Unkonventionell, wild, intelligent, witzig, monstro¨s, u¨berraschend, ab und an zauberhaft und bei all dem besta¨ndig auch die angeblichen Grenzen des Genrefilms auslotend – das ist nur ein Bruchteil von dem, was das Publikum der fu¨nften Jubila¨umsausgabe erwartet! Opening Night im Gartenbaukino! Am 18. September ero¨ffnen wir im Gartenbaukino mit der O¨sterreich-Premiere von IM KELLER in Anwesenheit von Filmemacher Ulrich Seidl und seinem Team. IM KELLER erza¨hlt Geschichten von Menschen, die ihren Leidenschaften und Obsessionen im Versteckten nachgehen. Pra¨zise festgehalten von der Kamera von Martin Gschlacht geht es um Modelleisenbahnen und Kellerbars, um Riesenschlangen, die in Terrarien liegen und um Hobbyfunker, die den Kontakt zur weiten Welt suchen, um Fitnessra¨ume und Waschku¨chen. Opernarien verhallen im Gewo¨lbekeller tief unter der Erde, nacktes Fleisch wird geschlagen, vor lauter Lust wird geschrien, vor lauter Angst geschossen. „Ulrich Seidls Kunst ist es, das zu zeigen und das erza¨hlen, was eigentlich niemand sehen und ho¨ren will.
