Dmytro Udovychenko, Violine Was born on June 1, 1999 in Kharkiv (Ukraine). He has been studying music since he was 5 years old. At the age of 6, Dmytro has began his studies at the Kharkiv Specialized Musical boarding school, where he cur- rently follows a violin program under supervision of Ludmila Varenina.

Dmytro is award winner of the following international music competitions: - First Open Violin Competition moderated by People’s Artist Tatiana Grindenko as part of the XVth International Festival “Music Is Our Common Home” - International Competition of Young Performers «Art of the XXI-st century» (-Vorzel, April 2009) - VIIIth International M.G. Erdenko Violin Competition (Russian Federation, 2010) - Xth International Competition «Accords of Khortytsa» (Zaporizhia, March 2010) - XVIIIth International Music Festival «Visiting Aivazovsky» (Feodosia, July 2011)

Dmytro performed with the following orchestras: «Virtuosos of Moscow» conducted by Vladimir Spivakov (Moscow), Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic Orchestra, Youth Symphonic Orchestra (Kharkiv), Luhansk Regional Philharmonic Orchestra, Poltava Regional Philharmonic Orchestra, and Symphonic Orchestra of Crimea. Dmytro has also recorded a number of performances at the National Recording House (Kyiv).

In addition, Dmytro participated in the master-classes of the following professors: Boris Garlitsky (), Nataliya Boyarskaya (London), Olga Parkhomenko (Helsinki), etc. Dmytro is a Vladimir Spivakov Foundation fellow (Moscow) and Young Talents Support Foundation fellow (Kharkiv). In May of 2014, at the invitation of Vladimir Spivakov, Dmytro performed in the Grand Hall of the International Music House during the opening ceremony of the “Moscow Welcomes Friends” International Festival, accompanied by Virtuosos of Moscow» (conducted by Vladimir Spivakov).

Currently, Dmytro is participating in the internship program supervised by Boris Garlitsky (Folkwang Universität der Künste, Essen).

Text: Dmytro Udovychenko Johannes Wessiepe, Violine Johannes Wessiepe wurde 1990 in Weingarten (Württ.) geboren. Bereits im Alter von sechs Jahren erhielt er den ersten Geigenunterricht.

Foto: Marie Weisser Ab 2008 nahm er Unterricht bei Nikolai Mintchev, der ihn 2009 dazu ermutigte zur Bratsche zu wechseln.

Danach setzte er seine Ausbildung zunächst für zwei Jahre bei Sophia Reuter (Duisburger Philharmoniker) fort, bevor er 2011 sein Studium bei Sebastian Bürger an der Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen begann.

Seit Oktober 2013 studiert er in der Klasse von Prof. Emile Cantor. Als Solist war Johannes Wessiepe bereits 2011 mit dem Bratschenkonzert von J. Chr. Bach in mehreren Konzerten zu hören. Während seines Studiums erhielt er Kammermusikunterricht bei Prof. Vladimir Mendelssohn und gibt mit seinem Ensemble regelmäßig Konzerte.

Text: Johannes Wessiepe Claudio Cohen, Dirigent Claudio Cohen is from Brasilia, conductor and violinist, has participated actively in the international and Brazilian music scene as a conductor, soloist, chamber musician and guest artist with major orchestras and music festi- vals in , is a founding member of the Symphonic Orchestra of the Teatro Cláudio Santoro National where he served for many years as a shoulder.

He is currently Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the seasons OSTNCS 20112014. It ‚also the director general of the Festival of Brasilia. Member of the Brasilia Quartet, which toured in Brazil, Asia, Americas, Europe and recorded nine CDs, the first winner of the Sharp Award in the category of best album of 1993 Classic is also OK Culture Prize, Award nominations for TIM year 2003, the music, referring to Charles VII in 2004 and Gomes Prize Winner in the category of chamber music highlight of the IX Premio Carlos Gomes with the Quartet of Brasilia, Brazil Award of Excellence Award 2006 and Brazil 2008 ALMUB Accord.

Claudio Cohen was a judge in cultural projects of the Ministry of Culture and violin professor at the UNB (Brasilia University) Department of Music and also took courses at the most important music festivals in the country. He worked between 1999 and 2004 in the role of Executive Director of the ‚Symphonic Orchestra of the Teatro Nacional Claudio Santoro. And ‚member and has been Music Director of the Brazilian Academy of Literature and Music ALMUB.

He received the Order of Merit of Brasilia and the degree of Officer of the Order of Cultural Merit of the Federal District in the rank of Commander. He has worked ex- tensively with the practice of the conduction of maestro Silvio Barbato (2002) and Emilio de César (20022006), also received the guidance of teachers Paleschi Carlo (), Miguel Graca Moura (Portugal), Ermano Florio (U.S. ), Fabiano Monica (Italy), Carmine Pinto (Italy), Christian Ehwald (Germany), Roberto Montenegro (Uruguay), Francesco La Vechi (Italy) and Abel Rocha (Sao Paulo). In private lessons. He served as assistant conductor of the Symphony Orchestra Claudio Santoro National Theater in 2002 and 2003 seasons. He also served as Music Director and owner of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Brasilia in the seasons 2006 to 2010. Director of Commercial Culture Association of DF Claudio Cohen holds the title of honorary citizen of Brasilia in 2009 granted by CLDF. In 2010 he launched the CD „Symphony Brasilia“ of the composer Jose Vicente Guerra, which has received praise from experts.

1995 haben sich die Remscheider Symphoniker (gegr. 1925) und das Städtische Orchester Solingen (gegr. 1939) unter dem neuen Dach der Bergischen Symphoniker zusammengeschlossen: ein Erfolgsmodell für eine geglückte Orchesterfusion. Heute sind die Bergischen Symphoniker unter ihrem GMD Peter Kuhn eines der meistbeschäftigten Orchester im Lande. Mit ambitionierten Konzertprogrammen und herausragenden SolistenInnen wie Sabine Meyer, Frank Peter Zimmermann oder Lars Vogt haben sie sich weit über die Region hinaus einen klangvollen Namen erspielt. Immer wieder sind sie bei Gastspielen zu hören, etwa in Köln oder Essen.

Neben ihren Philharmonischen Konzerten beweisen die MusikerInnen bei Musiktheaterproduktionen auch im Orchestergraben Flexibilität. Als modellhaft gilt die Jugendarbeit des Orchesters mit Schulkonzerten und Schulmusiken. Die Orchesterakademie der Symphoniker gibt NachwuchsmusikernInnen Gelegenheit, Erfahrungen in einem Profi-Orchester zu sammeln; deutschlandweit einmalig ist ihr Stipendium zur Förderung junger DirigentInnen.
