“When attempting to come up with some innovative, outside-the-box ideas for events and programs that you could host in your library, don’t be afraid of collaboration – with community members and organizations especially, but also with co-workers, colleagues, friends, and social networks” (Vasilik, 2012)

CONCLUSION
• Children and Young Adult Librarians can make a difference. • An access to a good library is a right of every child, and through information and digital literacy, children and young adult librarians have the skills and expertise to support students and teachers to become future ready. • It is our job, as the “older” generation, to help, guide, empower, and inspire the young generations to use the information wisely.
