Concert and conversation with Kari Slaatsveen and Liv Kreken “Let’s sing a sentimental song!” We know these “Leilighetsviser” from weddings, confirmations and traditional dinners. But sentimental songs for occasions can be more than rhymes scribbled on pink paper, and have a long and literary tradition in Norway. Eldar Vågan from Vazelina Bilopphøggers most often sings about life along the Mjøsa. Now after digging in the song archives of the National Library, he brings his unique style to sentimental songs for occasions. 7.30 pm: HEI HÅ, RA-TA-TA Conversation with and about Dizzie Tunes Colourful songs are key to the history of the musicians of the Dizzie Tunes show band.
