Thank you for being such a good role model for your daughters. 3. UPCOMING EVENTS 3.1 Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) The mid-year Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) will take place on Tue 28 May from 8.00am to 5.00pm. P2-6 are cordially invited to meet up with your daughter’s/ward’s form teacher and MTL teacher to discuss her performance for Semester 1. Kindly log onto MCOnline Portal to access the Parent Teacher Meeting Form to register your preferred 10- minute appointment slot with the form teacher. Registration will commence from 17 May to 24 May. If you do not have internet access, please inform your daughter’s form teacher of your preferred time slot (subjected to availability). Do note that parents are required to submit a NIL return if you are unable to attend the session. As a matter of courtesy, we would appreciate it if you could keep closely to your appointment. We seek your kind understanding if there are unforeseen delays. You may also choose to communicate with teachers via email/telephone instead of meeting them. If you are unable to come on Tue 28 May, your daughter's report book will be returned to her on Wed 29 May. All signed report books are to be returned to the form teacher when school re-opens Mon 1 July. In order to facilitate the PTC session, there will NOT be any lessons conducted that day. Pupils from P1-P6 NEED NOT come to school on that day. Instead, we encourage pupils to access e-learning materials which will be up-loaded onto our school MC Online portal. Parents who are driving on that day are requested to park their cars at the HDB carparks at Bukit Purmei. We would like to highlight again that you are NOT to park/wait along Bukit Teresa Road. The traffic police will not hesitate to initiate enforcement action against indiscrimination parking. We seek your cooperation and understanding on this matter. 3.2 Founder’s Day cum Award Ceremony Our 49th Founder’s Day cum Award Ceremony will be celebrated on Fri 31 May. The theme this year is "My Journey. Our Journeys” with special emphasis on Passion to Make a Difference. This is a significant occasion as we remember our founder, Blessed Father Barre, who devoted his life to the worthy cause of educating poor girls. His vision has endured the test of time and today his legacy continues in all the IJ schools ______________________________________________________________________ 3 A Globally-Minded Community with a Passion to Learn, Lead and Make a Difference worldwide. This year, we are honoured that the event will be graced by Special Guest, Ms Stephanie Choo Associate Architect, OX:D Experience Design (ONG & ONG).
