During the intervening 25 years since the publication of my original works, I have continued to un- dertake intensive field observations and have discovered many more Australian carnivorous plants. I have carefully revised, updated and improved the original books and my lifetimes work is now com- plete and released as Carnivorous Plants of Australia Magnum Opus 3 volume sequential series.

This benchmark study is a definitive, unparalleled and -up to-date examination of all the carnivorous plants currently recognised from the continent of Australia (8 species; 1 ; 1 cepha- lotus; 63 Utricularia; 3 ; and 163 Drosera.

This work includes twenty three new species, four new hybrids. Eleven recombined taxa, two new records for Australia, and eight taxa that have been recalled from synonymy.

Carnivorous Plants of Australia Magnum Opus includes a wealth of new information and location data, new observations, unique photographs and new maps that update the original works.
