The issue at hand highlights President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s current participation in the 21st conference of member states of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change which kicked off in Paris where Egypt is representing Africa since it heads the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN) and the Committee of African Heads of State and Government on Climate Change (CAHOSCC). President Sisi has also participated in two other important summits; the fourth Arab-South American summit which kicked off November 10 in the Saudi capital of Riyadh and the third India-Africa Forum Summit which kicked off Oct 29 in Delhi.
