USA Shooting NATIONAL OLYMPIC RECORDS As of June 2021 USA Shooting recognizes national records for each ISSF, special event, and developmental events recognized by USA Shooting. For the junior category, records will be recognized for Junior (open), J2, and J3. Senior, Intermediate Senior, and Veteran Senior category records will also be recognized. To be recognized as a national record, the score must be fired in a USA Shooting recognized special or developmental event or an ISSF event in a USA Shooting sanctioned competition. The competition must have been conducted on facilities that meet all technical requirements for distances, timing, etc. The competitor who fired the record score must be a current USA Shooting member and have used only equipment that completely fulfills all requirements for that event as per the General Technical Rules. If equipment control was not conducted at the beginning of the competition, the competition director may conduct a special equipment control to certify that the competitor’s equipment fulfilled these conditions. National records may not be set in leagues or postal competitions. Individual records may be set in those events that contain a minimum of 5 competitors for any event. Any event fired at a reduced distance with reduced distance targets, must follow all requirements of the official event. (i.e. 50-meter events reduced to 50-feet must follow requirements for the 50-meter event.) Team records have been retired. National records will be recognized if the score is fired in an international competition supervised by the ISSF. The competitor must have been a member of the USA Shooting sponsored team for that activity. -

INSPIRING CANADIANS - IN SPORT AND LIFE 2015 ANNUAL REPORT 2015 ANNUAL REPORT Message from the Chair – May 2016 On behalf of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame’s Board of Governors, I am pleased to present the 2015 Annual Report. 2015 marked the 60th anniversary of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame’s establishment in 1955 at Toronto’s CNE grounds by Harry Price. Since its move to Calgary in 2011, Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame continues to be a truly national organization with programs, events, and traveling exhibits across our country. We are proud to include a total of 65 sports represented by our 605 inducted Honoured Members spanning nearly 150 years of Canadian sport history. The Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame 2015 Induction Celebrations Presented by Canadian Tire were a huge success reaching over one million Canadians across the country. The nationally televised gala was a tribute to the Class of 2015 inductees selected to receive Canada’s highest sporting honour. In recognition of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame’s 60th anniversary and 2015 being proclaimed the Year of Sport by our Patron David Johnston, Governor General of 2015-16 Board of Governors Canada, a second Legends group was identified. This amazing group of 46 individuals made their contributions to sport and to Canada primarily before 1955. These remarkable Colin P. MacDonald, Chair people fought for gender equality, broke down racial barriers, and promoted the development Geoff Beattie Sylvie Bigras of sport in Canada. The Class of 2015 and the Legends Class are a true inspiration to all Michelle Cameron-Coulter Canadians and we are proud to share their stories and life lessons. -
Federal Congratulates Olympic Medalists
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Federal Congratulates Olympic Medalists ANOKA, Minnesota – August 11, 2021 – Federal Ammunition congratulates the USA Shooting shotgun team members who won Olympic medals in Tokyo. Federal sponsored shooters Vincent Hancock, Kayle Browning and Brian Burrows captured medals in their events against the world’s best on the biggest stage. Federal sponsored shooters Austen Smith and Derrick Mein also competed and turned in excellent performances but fell short of reaching their goals of an Olympic medal. “Our company couldn’t be prouder of the performances of our sponsored team of world class shooters at the Olympic games,” stated Jason Vanderbrink, President of Federal Ammunition. “They competed at the highest level against the world’s best shotgun shooters and were simply amazing. It brings such pride to our dedicated American employees that these athletes achieved their dreams of standing on the podium with an Olympic medal having used our American made products,” stated Vanderbrink. Vincent Hancock is now a 3-Time Olympic Champion following his gold medal performance in Tokyo. Hancock made the Men’s Skeet finals in a shoot-off and then bested the remaining five contenders hitting 59 of 60 targets, setting an Olympic record. Hancock is the first shooter to ever win three gold medals in this event, adding to the ones he won in Beijing in 2008 and London in 2012. Kayle Browning captured a silver medal in Women’s Trap. Browning, an Arkansas native, shot her way into the finals in the sixth position and then climbed into the final pairing with some clutch shooting. -
GLASGOW MEDIA GUIDE FR.Part1

Official Media Guide March 23 – April 1, 2012 Tucson Trap & Skeet Club 7800 W
12 US 20 A I S P SF U WORLD C OFFICIAl Media Guide March 23 – april 1, 2012 Tucson Trap & Skeet club 7800 W. Old ajo highway visitTucson.org 2012worldcup.tucsontrapandskeet.com (520) 883-6426 | toll free (888) 530-5335 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. USA Shooting is pleased to introduce the official 2012 Media Guide for the Tucson World Cup. Since participation in the first Olympic Games in 1896, American shooters have won over 100 medals. Though the events have changed over the years, the spirit of the Games remains. The title of the media guide is “Creating Legends on the Road to London” because American shooters have been so successful in the past and the future is equally lustrous. While there are many opportunities to shoot competitively in the United States, USA Shooting offers world-class athletes the opportunity to achieve Olympic and Paralympic dreams. “To me, the concept of wearing the USA on my back in the Paralympic Games in 2012 means that I have found my way through the fear factor. I have found a new sense of self and I have not only leveled the playing field from Special Operations soldier to Paralympic athlete . I have eclipsed all previous expectations of who I wanted to be and created a new pinnacle that exceeded all previous achievements and I did it without the use of my legs,” said 2012 U.S. Paralympic Team nominee Eric Hollen. Hollen is not only a top-notch individual, but also a very talented and hard-working shooter. Holllen was awarded USA Shooting’s 2010 and 2011 Paralympic Athlete of the Year distinction, and most notably, he was recently nominated to the 2012 U.S.
