SHOCONCEPTS CREATIVE SERVICES COMPLETES DESIGN AND INSTALLATION ON FIVE NEW PARAMOUNT PARKS ATTRACTIONS

Sherman Oaks, CA (June 29, 2004) ShoConcepts Creative Services has recently completed design and installation on five new attractions for Paramount Parks.

Ty Granaroli, Vice President, Paramount Creative asked ShoConcepts Creative Services, Inc. to bring together an independent team of creatives to develop and produce a ‘Live’ stage show that would feature Paramount Studios film properties.

Working together with Stan Morrell, Director of Entertainment, Paramount Parks, Inc., Steve Ryan, President, ShoConcepts Creative Services, Inc. assembled the project team, including, Chris Ellis, Writer/ Creative Director; Karen Maruyama, Show Director; Yael Pardess, Set Designer; George Wiktor, Media Producer; Christina Wright, Costume Designer; Bob Chambers, Technical Director; Todd O Wren, Lighting Designer; and Nathan Wang, Music Composer.

Other project team members included; David Mendoza, Show FX, Inc., Show Scenic Fabrication; Rich Wagner, Raw Media Technologies, Audio Systems Design and Installation; Benjamin Kidwell Lein, AME, Media/Control Systems Fabrication and Installation. Over all Technical Design and Direction was provided by David Reitterer, Director, Entertainment Technology, Paramount Parks, Inc.

The New Show entitled; “Paramount’s Magic of the Movies,” is an interactive family show revealing the spectacular magic behind Paramount Picture’s blockbuster special effects films. This 26 minute “Live” stage show combines multiple video projections, audience participation, real time “green screen” compositing and special effects, into an entertaining behind the scenes look at movie making. Featuring a demonstration of sound effects used in the film SLEEPY HOLLOW and how breakthroughs in digital compositing created the amazing scenes from TITANIC.
