Poleg Dvořákove Uverture Simfonija št. 4 (1945) / Karneval bomo lahko prisluhnili še Četrti Symphony No. 4 (1945) simfoniji češkega skladatelja Bohuslava Mar- tinůja. Po emigraciji v Ameriko si je Martinů prislužil spoštovanje v svoji novi domovini prav s skladanjem simfonij.
