Katy Perry Dazzles with First-Ever Concert at International superstar brings her world tour to Macao; mesmerizes the capacity audience at the Arena

(Macao, May 1, 2015) – Pop music sensation brought her latest show to the stage of The Venetian® Macao’s Friday night. THE PRISMATIC WORLD TOUR Macao, presented by The Venetian Macao and AEG Live, and sponsored by Citi®, marked her very first concert in Macao. The dynamic show attracted more than 10,000 enthusiastic fans who were enchanted by Katy’s energetic and visually stimulating performance with The Dolls (DJ Mia Moretti + Margot) as special guests. THE PRISMATIC WORLD TOUR is in support of “PRISM,” Katy’s latest best-selling platinum album, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Perry kicked off the Friday night show with her biggest selling single “Roar” from her most recent album, which got the already-excited crowd going. She also performed her 13th top ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100 “Dark Horse”, which only fuelled the crowd’s enthusiasm. Besides her new songs,

Katy Perry is a pop superstar who has received dozens of awards. She is the first artist to surpass the 75 million digital award threshold and is 20 million ahead of any other artist. Katy has played 134 shows on THE PRISMATIC WORLD TOUR since May 2014, and has brought the tour to the UK, North America, , and Europe. She started the Asian tour on April 18 in , and she will also perform in Manila, Jakarta, and after 2 shows in Macao.
