Lawson PT, FOC, ART-Cert founder and president of NEURO TOUR and Neurosport Physical Therapy, Inc., www.neurotour.com ▪ Our practitioners hold advance degrees and certifications including but not limited to: o Vocal Massage: Advanced soft tissue techniques to release tight laryngeal musculature and passive stretching to decrease inflammation and improve vocal fold mobility. o Active Release Technique (ART): Soft tissue technique that treats dysfunctions of muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. o Spinal Manipulation: High-velocity low-amplitude thrust manipulation of the cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacroiliac joints. o Dry Needling: A technique unequalled in finding and eliminating neuromuscular dysfunction that leads to pain and functional deficits. A filament needle inserted into the muscle in the region of a “trigger point”. The aim of Dry Needling is to achieve a local twitch response to release tension and pain. o Kinesio Taping (CKTP): A method of taping designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while allowing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion. o STOTT Pilates Instructors: Pilates is a total body workout involving core strengthening, toning, resistance training, and cardiovascular fitness and stretching. Pilates enhances overall functional fitness. o NEURO TOUR Fellowship: Extensive manual therapy training and education with an emphasis in Performing Arts Medicine. Fellowship includes, but not limited to, soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilizations, manipulations, cupping, and functional movements. WHAT WE DO ▪ NEURO TOUR provides an extensive menu of services, elite practitioners and expert management. ▪ NEURO TOUR provides and maintains all necessary equipment needed to prevent and treat injuries which may occur while touring. ▪ NEURO TOUR provides and maintains all necessary insurance, including medical malpractice, general liability, worldwide coverage, employers’ liability coverage and worker’s compensation. ▪ NEURO TOUR will observe choreography, identify potential risk patterns, and formulate strengthening and stretching programs to address areas of risk in effort to reduce the potential for injury.
