Directions to The Field Museum

From the City, north of the Museum ● Take Lake Shore Drive (US-41) south to Balbo Ave. Turn west/right on Balbo Ave. to Michigan Ave. Turn south/left on Michigan Ave. and then east/left on Roosevelt Rd. ● Access point to Museum Campus will be at Roosevelt Rd. and Indiana Ave. You will be directed to turn south/right on Columbus Dr. and east/left on McFetridge Dr. ● Entrance to parking garage will be off of McFetridge Dr. From the City, south of the Museum ● Take Lake Shore Drive (US-41) north. ● Continue on Lake Shore Drive until 39th St./Oakwood Exit. ● Turn west/left on 39th/Oakwood and take to Michigan Ave. or State St. ● Turn north/right on Michigan Ave. or State St. to Roosevelt Rd. From the City, west of the Museum and the Western Suburbs ● Take the Eisenhower Expressway, I-290 east. ● Continue through the city on Congress until you reach Michigan Ave. ● Turn right on Michigan Ave. Take to Roosevelt Rd. and turn east/left. ● Access point to Museum Campus will be at Roosevelt Rd. and Indiana Ave. You will be directed to turn south on Columbus Dr. and east on McFetridge Dr. ● Entrance to parking garage will be off of McFetridge Dr. From Wisconsin and the Northern Suburbs ● Take I-94 to the Kennedy expressway, I-90/94. ● Continue through the city. ● Take the Roosevelt Road exit and turn left at the second light, onto Roosevelt Road. ● Continue east on Roosevelt. ● Access point to Museum Campus will be at Roosevelt Rd. and Indiana Ave. You will be directed to turn south on Columbus Dr. and east on McFetridge Dr. ● Entrance to parking garage will be off of McFetridge Dr. From O'Hare and the Northwest Suburbs ● Use I-90 east to the Kennedy expressway, I-90/94 east heading towards Chicago. ● Continue through the city. ● Take the Roosevelt Road exit and turn left at the second light onto Roosevelt Road. ● Continue east on Roosevelt. ● Access point to Museum Campus will be at Roosevelt Rd. and Indiana Ave. You will be directed to turn south on Columbus Dr. and east on McFetridge Dr. ● Entrance to parking garage will be off of McFetridge Dr. From Indiana, Michigan and the South and Southeast Suburbs ● Take the Dan Ryan Expressway, I-90/94 north to 35th St.exit ● Turn east/right and continue to either State St. or Michigan Ave. ● Turn north/left on either State St. or Michigan Ave. and continue to Roosevelt Rd. ● Turn east/right on Roosevelt Rd. Access point to Museum Campus will be at Roosevelt Rd. and Indiana Ave. You will be directed to turn south on Columbus Dr. and east on McFetridge Dr. ● Entrance to parking garage will be off of McFetridge Dr. From Southwest Suburbs ● Take I-55 to I90/94 heading toward Indiana. ● Take the exit at 35th St and turn east/left. Continue on 35th St. to either State St. or Michigan Ave. ● Turn north/left on State St. or Michigan Ave. and take to Roosevelt Rd. ● Turn east/right on Roosevelt Rd. Access point to Museum Campus will be at Roosevelt Rd. and Indiana Ave. You will be directed to turn south/right on Columbus Dr. and east/left on McFetridge Dr. ● Entrance to parking garage will be off of McFetridge Dr. OR ● Take I-55 to I90/94 heading toward Wisconsin.
