Day 1: Arrive Ottawa
Arrive in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada. Rich with history, culture and prestigious educational institutions, Ottawa's centrepiece is Parliament Hill, the home of Canada's federal government and the heartbeat of Canadian politics. Ottawa is also home to seven of the nine national museums of Canada.

Day 2: ByWard Market Winter Warm-Up Food Tour and Visit to the National Art Gallery
Today you'll join a local guide for a 2 hour guided walking tour of the Byward Market, known for its local artisans and speciality food shops, producers and restaurants. Sample foods, savoury bites and warm beverages as you hear stories from your local guide. The very first Beavertail kiosk, a famous Canadian pastry served with a variety of toppings, and a true Canadian tradition that originated in Ontario stands at Byward Market.
Also included is admission to the National Art Gallery to see the extensive collection of Canadian art, revealing the past, celebrating the present and looking towards the future. The National Art Gallery has a variety of exhibitions and galleries including Indigenous Art, political pieces and even the critically acclaimed Forty-Part Motet that showcases 40 individual voices recorded and played back through 30 speakers positioned around the Rideau Chapel in the Canadian and Indigenous Galleries section.

Day 3: Nordic Spa & Skating on the Rideau Canal
Soak away your cares at the Nordic Spa Nature Centre located in the hills of the picturesque village of Old Chelsea a short drive from your Ottawa hotel. This spa is the largest of its kind in North America, with baths, whirlpools, Scandinavian inspired relaxing therapies and treatment centres located both outdoors and in. It offers a multi-sensory experience in a natural setting aimed at contributing to the well-being of visitors and is truly a one-of-a-kind experience.
Later today, venture out for skating or simply to watch skaters on to the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which in winter this transforms into the largest outdoor skating rink in the world. Weather permitting, the frozen Rideau Canal Skateway offers 7.8 km of skating through the heart of Ottawa. There is plenty of rental opportunities for skates along route as well as warming huts to keep you warm.

Day 4: Half Day Dog Sledding Adventure
This morning drive towards the Outaouais region of neighbouring Quebec to get ready for a dogsledding adventure. The Outaouais region, including the city of Gatineau, is located on the opposite side of the Ottawa River from the Ontario section of the City of

Page 1/2 Ottawa. Spend an exhilarating morning outdoors as you experience some traditional dogsledding. Hourly or half day experiences are available depending on how much time you wish to spend on this adventure. You may want the opportunity of driving the dog sled yourself, or just get a feel of this experience with a short introductory session.

Day 5: Depart Ottawa
Your package ends with check out from your hotel. Time permitting you may choose to explore the nearby Canadian Museum of Nature, Canadian Museum of History or the Canadian War Museum before departing this beautiful city.
