J-E Paino J-E Paino Proprietor, Ruhstaller Beer, was introduced by Program Chair, Troy Bird. J-E is from San Francisco with a MBA from UC Davis. J-E went on to say that Sacramento has a very rich beer making history. At one time Yolo County was a very large grower of hops. Captain Frank Ruhstaller came to Sacramento from Switzerland to eventually became to the Managing Director of Buffalo Beer a premium craft beer; Gilt Edge lager beer in 1881. J-E started out by making a few kegs of beer and then quickly moved to 20 oz bottles with burlap covered neck. The burlap is placed on by hand by Pride Industries personnel. 2011 -2012 Leadership Team Announcements President Prez Jeff – Sunshine Report - Dick Marshal had his 2nd knee  Jeff Post surgery to improve his recovery. Bob Ceccato is still recuperating Past President well from his back surgery and Don Fipps, present at the meeting  Len Strickland today is recovering from his April 3rd back surgery. President Elect April 28th Planting Trees in the Bridge District Project. Heine  Mark Engstrom Roikjer reported on the project. Contact Heine if you can assist on Treasurer this project in 3 weeks.  Chris Bradford Habitat for Humanity – Heine Roikjer reported there would be Secretary another opportunity to work on the Mrs. Gassman House later in the  David Kamminga month. dyeing t-shirts, egg hunt, face painting and selling water. The students wore their

All the RCHS Interact students did a wonderful Embrace Humanity job helping the children enjoy the Spring Celebration.
