Double Classes Jazz & Jazz Technique – To be able to take a Jazz class, you will be required to take our Jazz Technique Class. This class is designed to go hand in hand with Jazz and is beneficial for your child. We have placed Jazz Technique first so the students can start with a warm up and stretch. In Jazz Technique they learn and practice their kicks, turns, leaps and splits and this helps the students when performing their Jazz routine. Jazz Technique will be compul- sorry if your child is in our Jazz classes. This will cost $11 per week for the 2 classes. (This does not apply to Jelly Beans classes)

Ballet - Our Ballet classes are graded and grades are taught to each specific age group. R.A.D Ballet syllabus (Royal Academy of Dance) is taught in all of our Jb Dance classes and each class goes for one hour due to the size of the syllabus that needs to be taught. (This does not apply to Jelly Bean classes)

Performance Group – All Students are welcome to join the JB DANCE Performance Group. Being a part of the performance group shows that you want to take your dancing to the next level. Our performances are mostly on weekends. To take part in our Performance Group, you are required to take the following classes: Ballet, Jazz and Jazz Technique. There will be no exceptions for any student. Performance Group Classes will now run for 60 minutes instead of 30 minutes, as in 2014 we will aim to learn 2-3 routines with different styles so our performances will be more diverse with a variety of routines. This class is now an $11 class. (This does not apply to Jelly Bean classes) Boys Hip Hop - Our Boys Hip Hop classes will be an hour long class, we will be spend- ing 30 minutes focusing on skills – such as breakdancing, popping, locking and other styles of Boys Hip Hop. The remainder of the class will be focusing on a class routine. This class is an $11 class. Costume for End of Year Show Costumes for our end of year concert will be issued accordingly and will have a due date being September 12, 2014.

Class Code of Conduct At JB DANCE we treat you as family, not as a number, and we love building relationships with our students and parents! However, we have put a few rules in place in order for your child to get the most out of the JB DANCE experience. • At JB Dance, we strive to help your child become the best dancer he or she can be – after years of training open classes, we have found that a child learns best in a quiet and a distraction-free environment. • If students arrive before their class has started, they must be quiet and respectful. • If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s fees, newsletters, events or anythingelse, please contact Miss Jessie anytime on 0401 473 457 or email Miss Jessie or Michelle at [email protected] ,As we run our classes back to back, we prefer it if you could avoid talking to the teachers directly before or after their class, as this can cut into class times.
