Enabling Adobe Flash

To enable Flash in Google Chrome for a site, follow these steps below: 1. While logged into your course, click the icon to the left of the URL in the site address bar. 2. Click the drop down next to Flash. 3. Select Always allow on this site.

4. Click the Reload button to reload the page and apply the new flash settings. To enable Flash in Mozilla FireFox, follow these steps below: 1. Select Tools on the top of the page. yy Note: If you do not see Tools press the Alt key once on the keyboard and it will appear 2. Select Add-ons

3. Select Plugins and locate Shockwave Flash

4. Navigate to the dropdown and select Always Activate 5. Refresh the page once you have completed the following steps To enable Flash in Internet Explorer, follow these steps below: 1. Select The Cog located top-right of the page and select Manage add-ons.

2. Locate Shockwave Flash Object

3. Select Enable and then Close in the lower right corner of the window To enable Flash in Microsoft EDGE, follow these steps below: 1. Select “...” located top-right of the page and select Settings

2. Scroll down to the Settings and select View advanced settings 3. Enable Use Adobe Flash Player by clicking on the slider bar underneath it to ON

4. Refresh the page. To enable Flash in Safari, follow these steps below: 1. Click the Safari tab at the top left and select Preferences.

yy Note: If you are viewing Safari in full-screen mode, mouse over the top of the browser screen to see the menu. 2. Click the Security tab. 3. Ensure that Enable JavaScript and Allow Plug-ins are selected. 4. Click the Plug-in Settings… button.

Safari 10.0 Security settings 1. Select Adobe Flash Player. 2. From the When visiting other websites menu, choose On, and then click Done.

3. For each website appearing in Currently Open Websites, choose On in the menu on the right. For MacOS X 10.8 and 10.9 1. Open Safari, and choose Safari > Preferences.

Ensure that Enable JavaScript and Allow Plug-ins are selected. 4. Click the Manage Website Settings… button. Mac OS X 10.8 and 10.9 Security settings 1. Select Adobe Flash Player. 2. From the When visiting other websites menu, choose Allow.

For Mac OS X 10.6 and 10.7 1. Choose Safari > Preferences.

Plug-ins and JavaScript are enabled. 3. Close the Preferences window.
