Programming over 250 films from 40 countries, the Festival showcases the best in culturally diverse, non-violent, value affirming new cinema for children & youth and welcomes 25,000 attendees including 150 filmmakers who lead interactive Q&A’s & workshops. The Festival is also the only Academy Award qualifying children’s film festival in the world! The Chicago International Children’s Film Festival is a project of Facets Multi-Media; a non profit organization that for 35-years has been dedicated to the exhibition, distribution and education of foreign, independent and classic cinema. Admission Program Guidance Children (Ages 2–16): $6.00 Symbols will be used to mark programs that contain Adults: $9.00 profanity (P), mild violence (V), or mature themes (M).
