AUSTRALIAN RODEO HERITAGE CENTRE OVERVIEW

The Australian Rodeo Heritage Centre in Warwick is dedicated to the spirit of the cowboy and the rodeo. A place to follow the history and relive the glory of the Australian Professional Rodeo Association's greatest champions and rodeo history. The only one of its type in Australia, the ARHC exhibits interactive and static displays, live rodeo demonstrations, a theatrette, bar, function and boardroom, museum store and is home to the head office of the Australian Professional Rodeo Association (APRA).

DISPLAYS

Quaker style barns set the scene of the outback displays that showcase the cowboys that set the standard of rodeo in Australia today. Saddles, ropes, chaps and all things memorable that won that coveted title or imprinted the pages of history are captured and shown to relive every day.

THEATRETTE

Relive the action of the top competitors and learn the past, present and future transformation of rodeo in Australia. Find out where we're headed and what changes and obstacle's rodeo has faced over the time. If you prefer being behind the safety of a window you can view the action in the arena from a safe distance in the comfort of the corporate seating.

DEMONSTRATIONS & LIVE SHOWS

The thrill and excitement of rodeo comes alive where you can enter an arena and experience the cowboy way first hand. Try your luck at roping 'Sparky' the mechanical steer or sit on the sidelines for the gate cracking of the fearless bull riders and athletic saddle bronc riders (live demonstrations for corporate functions by appointment).

Facility is available for buck out nights/days. We can provide an up close and personal demonstration of bucking bulls from poddy calves to an 800kg mean machine professional bucking bull. Along with professional sound we can give you the opportunity to utilise the facility to spotlight this extreme sport

for your next event!

BAR AND FUNCTION BOARDROOM

These rooms are available for hire for weddings, conferences, parties and meetings.

The fully air-conditioned boardroom has seating and kitchen facilities for 10 people or for larger meetings, adjacent to the boardroom is our bar and function room. This room is a large 19 x 6 room with tables and seating available for hire also.

MUSEUM STORE

The country style barn store is unique and inviting, from western gifts to ARHC merchandise and memorabilia, there is something for everyone.

FUNCTION DETAILS

We can offer the following demonstrations as well as tours through the Hall of Fame:

Bucking bull, Roping, Whip Cracking, Horsemanship, or request a demonstration suited to your event.

We can provide catering for up to 150 people depending on the type of food served. We can provide a sit down dinner, camp oven dinner, Canapé & Hors d'Oeuvres, lunch, and afternoon/morning tea. We also have two coffee/tea preparation stations. We have a fully stocked bar that includes beer, wine, soft drink, juice, and energy drinks - and we can also arrange pre-paid bar tabs!
