Sample Layout: Title Should Concisely and Accurately Specify Subject of the Full Paper

MAJOR HEADINGS Main text should be subdivided into: Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions and References. Major headings are typed bold in 12pt upper case (capital letters) Text should be justified (extend to the right-hand ) and be typed to fill the full depth of the text area. Please use a 12pt Times . Do not indent the text . For citations in the text, use the surname of author and year of publication: Jones (2002) or (Jones 2002). References should be listed alphabetically at the end of the paper. Although "et al." is preferable in the text, in the list of references all authors should be given.

Minor headings Minor headings are in 12pt bold type, not indented. Do not number headings.

Sub-headings. Sub-headings are typed in 12pt italic (or underlined if italics are not available), not indented, with the running on after a full stop.

New paragraphs are not indented, but are preceded by a line of space. Also please avoid using footnotes or splitting tables over two (or more) pages.

SI units are strongly recommended. If non-SI units must be used, SI equivalents (or conversion factors) must also be given.

Figures and tables Figures, tables or other graphical elements should be placed in boxes and placed after the first reference of the element in the text, as shown in fig 1. The boxes can either be full-size, spanning the entire page, or half size, covering half the page. Half sized boxes should be placed on the right side on odd pages, and on the left on even pages. The surrounding text should wrap around the box and the box itself should contain both the graphical element and the caption.

Legends and axis text should be no smaller than 8pts. If you use colour, make sure that the element is still legible in B/W reproduction. Axis labels should follow the pattern: [Quantity, variable name, dimension], e.g: Specific Excess Thrust, SEP, [m/s]
