    19ª SEMANA DE TECNOLOGIA METROFERROVIÁRIA TEMA – SIMULAÇÃO ELÉTRICA DE TRAÇÃO FERROVIÁRIA TÍTULO – ESTUDO DE CASO DE CARREGAMENTO DO SISTEMA ELÉTRICO DE TRAÇÃO DA LINHA 9 – ESMERALDA OBJETIVO O objetivo do presente estudo é desenvolver uma nova metodologia de simulação elétrica que permita uma análise rápida das diferentes situações de carga, possibilitando um melhor ajuste das proteções, bem como a compreensão das situações limites de suportabilidade de alguns componentes. Este novo método é baseado em informações obtidas através de medições de campo e não depende de informações de caraterísticas civis da via e mecânicas dos trens para realizar uma simulação do sistema de alimentação elétrica da tração, possibilitando a análise de cenários operacionais futuros e/ou de contingência. Para tal foi escolhida a Linha 09 – Esmeralda da CPTM, que conforme apresentado, encontrasse em situação crítica. RELEVÂNCIA A Linha 9 – Esmeralda da CPTM liga as estações Osasco à Grajaú na cidade de São Paulo, perfazendo um total de 31,8 km com tempo de viagem aproximado (operação-padrão) de 42 minutos (ida e volta), em 2 (duas) vias denominadas V1S (Osasco para Grajaú) e V2S (Grajaú para Osasco). Esta Linha possui 18 estações: Osasco, Presidente Altino, Ceasa, Villa-Lobos/Jaguaré, Cidade Universitária, Pinheiros, Hebraica-Rebouças, Cidade Jardim, Vila Olímpia, Berrini, Morumbi, Granja Julieta, Santo Amaro, Socorro, Jurubatuba, Autódromo, Primavera-Interlagos e Grajaú. A Linha 9 – Esmeralda funciona entre 04h00 e 24h00. Nos sábados, a operação inicia às 04h00, e se encerra às 01h00 do domingo. Atualmente, nos dias úteis, a CPTM pratica operações diferenciadas em horários de vale e pico específicos. Os horários de vale da CPTM compreendem os períodos das 04h00 às 06h00; das 08h45 às 16h45 e das 19h40 às 24h00 onde o “headway” (intervalo entre trens) está entre 07min e 08min.

Abstract Employing the concepts of lifeworld (Lebenswelt) and system as primarily discussed by Edmund Husserl and Jürgen Habermas, this dissertation argues that the lifeworlds of Anglo- Indian and Goan Catholics in the Greater Toronto Area have permitted members of these communities to relatively easily understand, interact with and manoeuvre through Canada’s democratic, individualistic and market-driven system. Suggesting that the Catholic faith serves as a multi-dimensional primary lens for Canadian Goan and Anglo-Indians, this sociological ethnography explores how religion has and continues affect their identity as diasporic post- colonial communities. Modifying key elements of traditional Indian culture to reflect their Catholic beliefs, these migrants consider their faith to be the very backdrop upon which their life experiences render meaningful. Through systematic qualitative case studies, I uncover how these individuals have successfully maintained a sense of security and ethnic pride amidst the myriad cultures and religions found in Canada’s multicultural society. Oscillating between the fuzzy boundaries of the Indian traditional and North American liberal worlds, Anglo-Indians and Goans attribute their achievements to their open-minded Westernized upbringing, their traditional Indian roots and their Catholic-centred principles effectively making them, in their opinions, admirable models of accommodation to Canada’s system.

Die könnte identisch in Wien sein. Ansonsten wenig Glamour. Viele Menschen leben auf der Sraße, man sieht die Armut, wo man geht und steht. Auf der Rua 25 Marco werden Glimmer und Glitzer im großen Stil verkauft. Es gibt alles mit Strass: Flipflops, Haarreifen, Diademe, Haarspangen, Ringe und alles an Schmuck, was man sich denken kann. Alles ist sehr bunt, sehr laut und und sehr voll. Aber auch faszinierend glitzerig. (Und wie ich retrospektiv feststellen konnte, kommt es in Europa erst Monate später und zu dras- tisch höheren Preisen auf den Markt.) Wir schaffen in São Paulo nicht einmal die Hälfte von dem, was uns interessieren würde. Die Architektur, die vielen Museen, die unterschiedlichen Stadtviertel – man kann das zeitlich wie körperlich gar nicht bewältigen. Heute waren wir acht Stunden bei 28 Grad, bedecktem Himmel und extrem hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit unterwegs. Da ist man abends platt. An der Paulista wollten wir ins Kunstmuseum gehen. Der berühmte Bau ist von Lina Bo Bardi. Auf Fotos sieht er ganz spektakulär aus, in der Realität Anfang 2016 jedoch nicht. Die roten Trä- gersäulen sind gerade umkleidet und daher fehlt das optisch signifikante Merkmal. This is due to its potential to combat protein malnutrition and food insecurity in many countries. Shortly after slaughter, animal by-products are separated into edible or inedible parts. The edible part accounts for 55% of the production while the remaining part is regarded as inedible by-products (IEBPs). These IEBPs can be re-processed into sustainable products for agricultural and industrial uses. The efficient utilization of animal by-products can alleviate the prevailing cost and scarcity of feed materials, which have high competition between animals and humans. This will also aid in reducing environmental pollution in the society. In this regard, proper utilization of animal by-products such as rumen digesta can result in cheaper feed, reduction in competition and lower cost of production. Over the years, the utilization of animal by-products such as rumen digesta as feed in livestock feed has been successfully carried out without any adverse effect on the animals.
