The Sofrito Project
In 2014, Reina started The Sofrito Project to share her love of cooking with friends and family. Three short years later, and after leaving her full-time corporate job, Reina started culinary school to pursue her true passion. Blogging grew as a creative outlet to share her growing knowledge and original recipes with others. As a Southern Puerto Rican, Reina explores both her multiracial background and cultures through food and writing. She currently resides in Charleston, South Carolina and enjoys reading cookbooks and fiction novels, cooking meals for family and friends, writing and creating new content for her blog, and spending quality time with her rescue dog.
