Other/Member Comments - Discussion TVA work to close lanes at Tellico Parkway Bridge this weekend Tennessee Valley Authority work May 12-13 near Tellico Dam in Loudon County, Tenn., will lead to temporary lane closures this weekend at the bridge on Tellico Parkway (State Route 444). TVA will be replacing expansion joints on the bridge below Tellico Dam beginning 7 a.m. on Saturday, May 12. The eastbound lane of the Tellico Parkway Bridge crossing the lake going toward Bussell Island (Lenoir City) will be closed all day beginning at 7 a.m Saturday, May 12. The lane is scheduled to reopen when the work is done that evening between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., depending on completion of the bridgework. Work will begin on the opposite lane at 7 a.m. on Sunday, May 13, and will reopen that evening after 6 pm. Normal traffic will resume at that time. Throughout the project, one lane will be open at all times. Motorists should expect traffic delays during the bridge work, take extra caution while driving, and consider alternate routes.
