Kids Come of Age in HBO/Sky's ''

Two American teenagers discover love, life, friendships and some difficult truths about themselves, their friends and their families in the new HBO and Sky series, We Are Who We Are, from the Oscar-nominated director of Call Me By Your Name,

Jack Dylan Graser stars as Fraser, a shy and introverted 14-year-old who moves from New York to a U.S. military base in Veneto, , with his mothers, Sarah (Chloë Sevigny) and Maggie ().

Fraser finds a friend when he meets Caitlin (Jordan Kristine Seamón), who has lived with her family on the base for several years and speaks Italian. Caitlin is the center of her group of friends, which includes Britney (Francesca Scorsese), an outspoken, witty, sexually uninhibited girl; the cheerful and good-natured Craig (Corey Knight), a soldier in his twenties; Sam (Ben Taylor), Caitlin's possessive boyfriend; Craig's younger brother; Enrico (Sebastiano Pigazzi), a playful eighteen-year-old from Veneto who has a weak spot for Britney; and Valentina (Beatrice Barichella), an Italian girl.

The cast also includes Spence Moore II as Caitlin's older brother, Danny; as her father, Richard, and Faith Alabi as her mother, Jenny. We Are Who We Are is a co-production of HBO and Sky. Guadagnino is showrunner, executive producer, writer and director. Lorenzo Mieli executive produces for The Apartment while Mario Gianani executive produces for Wildside, both Fremantle companies, with Small Forward, alongside Guadagnino, Elena Recchia, Nick Hall, Sean Conway, and Francesco Melzi d'Eril. Paolo Giordano and Francesca Manieri write alongside Guadagnino. Fremantle is the international distributor.

Series premieres on HBO and Sky on Monday, Sept. 14.
