enligt sin instruktion1 ett årligt regeringsuppdrag att rapportera utfallet av svenska projekt med kulturanknytning som Beviljats stöd via EU:s struktur- och investeringsfonder, inklusive projekt inom de territoriella samarbetsprogrammen. Redovisningen har i år skett i samarbete med Riksantikvarieämbetet. EU:s struktur- och investeringsfonder, ESI-fonderna, är EU:s främsta verktyg för att förverkliga Europa 2020-strategin för smart, hållbar och inkluderande tillväxt för att minska de ekonomiska och sociala skillnaderna mellan regionerna i Europa. De fyra ESI- fonderna i Sverige är Europeiska regionala utvecklingsfonden (ERUF), Europeiska socialfonden (ESF), Europeiska jordbruksfonden för landsbygdsutveckling och Europeiska havs- och fiskerifonden. Europeiska havs- och fiskerifonden ger stöd för att utveckla vattenbruk och hållbart fiske och bedöms inte vara aktuell att inkludera i redovisningen.2 Innevarande programperiod pågår från år 2014 till 2020. Rapporten redovisar utfallet av svenska projekt med kulturanknytning. Med svenska projekt avses projekt i vilka svenska parter är projektägare eller samarbetspart. Urvalet av projekt bygger på en vid tolkning av begreppet kulturanknytning. I korthet ska projekten ha någon koppling till konstarter, medier, bildning eller kulturarv. Projekten som redovisas i rapporten har såväl starka som svaga kopplingar till kultur och det förekommer att endast en begränsad del av projekten är kulturrelaterade. Det inneBär att de redovisade medlen i rapporten inte oavkortat går till kulturverksamheter. Bild 1. I rapporten redovisas beviljade projekt med kulturanknytning 2020 inom tre av de fyra ESI-fonderna, inklusive Lokalt ledd utveckling. 1 Förordning (2012:515) med instruktion för Statens kulturråd. 2 Undantagsvis om projekt beviljas medel från fonden via Lokalt ledd utveckling (LLU). 5/33 EU:s struktur- och investeringsfonder 2020 Beviljade medel 2020 Under 2020 har totalt 415 projekt med kulturanknytning och svenskt deltagande fått beslut om knappt 314 miljoner kronor i EU-finansiering från Europeiska regionala utvecklingsfonden (ERUF), Europeiska socialfonden (ESF) och Europeiska jordBruksfonden för landsBygdsutveckling. Det totala Beloppet inkluderar även stöd som förmedlats genom Lokalt ledd utveckling (LLU).3 Som framgår av taBell 1 beviljades flest projekt med kulturanknytning stöd inom Landsbygdsprogrammet, följt av Lokalt ledd utveckling. LandsBygdsprogrammet beviljade även det högsta totala beloppet till kulturanknutna projekt under 2020. Inom de regionala strukturfondsprogrammen beviljades ett betydligt lägre stödbelopp till kultur jämfört med programperiodens tidigare år. Även inom Interregprogrammen var stödBeloppet till kultur lägre. Inom det nationella regionalfondsprogrammet och Europeiska socialfonden var däremot stödbeloppet till kulturanknutna projekt något högre jämfört med tidigare år. Antalet kulturanknutna projekt är det näst högsta under programperioden.4 Det ska dock framhållas att programmens totala finansiering kan variera mycket från år till år och att det är relevant att även titta på andelar av programmens totala finansiering (se taBell 2). En särskild notering Bör göras med anledning av pågående pandemi. Under 2020 har ett antal projekt inom besöksnäring och SMF kopplat till covid-19 beviljats stöd, bland annat inom det nationella regionalfondsprogrammet. Då vi endast har inkluderat projekt som uttryckligen lyfter kultur är det sannolikt att fler projekt än vad som redovisas omfattar aktörer inom kultursektorn.     ARTICLE Struve Geodetic Arc Joins World Heritage List 15th July, Durban, South Africa The World Heritage Committee chaired by Themba Wakashe, South Africa’s deputy director-general for Heritage and National Archives has inscribed seventeen cultural sites on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The nominations took place on 15th July at a meeting in Durban, South Africa. The World Heritage List now numbers 812 sites in total, including 628 cultural, 160 natural and 24 mixed sites, in 137 States. Bahrain, the Republic of Moldova and Bosnia and Herzegovina enter the List for the first time. The sites inscribed during the current session of the World Heritage Committee include three transboundary sites and extensions to six sites that were already on the List. The Struve Geodetic Arc is the first survey-site on the list. The countries hosting the Struve Geodetic Arc are Belarus, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, Sweden and Ukraine. The Struve Geo- detic Arc is a chain of survey triangulations stretching from Hammerfest in Norway to the Black Sea, through ten countries and over 2,820km. These are the points of a survey carried out between 1816 and 1855 by the astronomer Friedrich Georg Wilhelm Struve and represent the first accurate measuring of a long segment of a meridian. This helped establish the exact size and shape of our planet and marked an important step in the development of earth sciences and topographic mapping. It is an extraordinary example of scientific collaboration among scientists from different countries, and of collaboration between monarchs, for a scientific cause.

Urbanitet i halvperifera delar av staden Jonas Carlsson ⏐ Examensarbete 2005 vid BTH Förord Under det senaste året har jag fördjupat mig i en bred frågeställning som kretsat kring urbanitet och stadens struktur i ett samtida och historiskt perspektiv. Mitt intresse för transportstrukturen har successivt vuxit i takt med insikten om dess betydelse för staden som livsmiljö. Ofta talar man sig varm för den urbana staden och dess potential som en hållbar stadsform samtidigt som en trafikplanering bedrivs som inte leder närmare denna utan istället längre ifrån. I strävan mot en bättre förståelse för ytterstaden som resultat av en modernistisk planering har jag med stort intresse försökt kartlägga attityden till staden och vilka principer som varit tongivande sedan modernismen etablerades i Sverige. I detta arbete har min handledare Gösta Blücher varit till stor hjälp med gedigen kunskap och inblick. Jag vill tacka alla hjälpsamma personer på kommunerna som jag har kontaktat och speciellt tack till Gävle kommun och Elin Andersson som försett mig med material, synpunkter och uppmuntran.     The path to the FAIR HANSA FAIR For more than 600 years, a unique network HANSA of merchants existed in Northern Europe. The cooperation of this consortium of merchants for the promotion of their foreign trade gave rise to an association of cities, to which around 200 coastal and inland cities belonged in the course of time. The Hanseatic League in the Middle Ages These cities were located in an area that today encom- passes seven European countries: from the Dutch Zui- derzee in the west to Baltic Estonia in the east, and from Sweden‘s Visby / Gotland in the north to the Cologne- Erfurt-Wroclaw-Krakow perimeter in the south. From this base, the Hanseatic traders developed a strong economic in uence, which during the 16th century extended from Portugal to Russia and from Scandinavia to Italy, an area that now includes 20 European states. Honest merchants – Fair Trade? Merchants, who often shared family ties to each other, were not always fair to producers and craftsmen. There is ample evidence of routine fraud and young traders in far- ung posts who led dissolute lives. It has also been proven that slave labor was used. ̇ ̆ Trading was conducted with goods that were typically regional, and sometimes with luxury goods: for example, wax and furs from Novgorod, cloth, silver, metal goods, salt, herrings and Chronology: grain from Hanseatic cities such as Lübeck, Münster or Dortmund 12th–14th Century - “Kaufmannshanse”.
