ENG Discovering the Etruscans The cultural, artistic and architectural traces left in Southern Tuscany by the Etruscans - a people that has always been portrayed as enigmatic and mysterious - are still an integral part of the history, cities and landscapes of that which once was the very heart of . A heritage that is still largely accessible to visit, get to know and explore in the extraordinary villages founded by the Etruscan people, thanks also to a system of museums and archaeological sites scattered throughout the nature and landscapes of Tuscany. The means, eras and territories through which Etruscan civilisation developed in Tuscany are multiple, at least as many as the itineraries proposed to take you on a discovery of this people of farmers, urban planners, metalworkers, warriors, artists, traders, navigators, artisans and travellers.

The “Toscana Terra Etrusca” tourism product Toscana Terra Etrusca was founded to valorise the great historical-artistic heritage of the Etruscans in Tuscany with a top-quality tourism proposal. To this end, the participating Councils – led by Chiusi –have each adhered to the tourism product through a convention under Regional Law no. 86 dated 20 December 2016 “Consolidated Law on the regional tourism system” that has innovated tourism, and which saw the introduction of the homogenous tourism product which defines all the characteristics and services of a territory that make up an offer that can fulfil the demands of specific segments of tourist requirements. The participating Councils refer to the provinces of Arezzo, Grosseto and
