CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS MATERIALS LIST

All work will be done in , the traditional carving stone of Europe’s cathedrals. If students wish to work in another material such as or , this can be discussed during the first class. Required : 1. Point ( House brand, Dick Blick) 2. Four Toothed Chisel (Dick Blick) 3. ¾” Flat Chisel (Dick Blick) 4. 1.5 lb soft (Dick Blick)

All required may be purchased in the “Sculpture House Set” from Dick Blick

Suggested Tools: 1. Four tooth finishing chisel (Milani Brand, can be purchased from The Complete Sculptor) or (Sculpture House Brand, can be purchased individually from The Complete Sculptor or as part of a set from Dick Blick) 2. Pitch or blocking chisel (Milani Brand, The Complete Sculptor) 3. Medium (Sculpture House Brand, R28, Dick Blick) 4. A wider variety of tooth, rondel, and flat chisels will aid students and will be discussed during class. I suggest purchasing the “required tools” in a set from Dick Blick for the first class, and adding additional tools as required.
