Appointment of 0.66 FTE Foundation Stage and KS1 Class Teacher at Chittlehampton C of E Primary School

Founded in 1865 as a Church of England School, our principles are underpinned by Christian values. We aim to be a school where everyone is happy to work and strive to achieve their full potential. As part of the Devon Moors Federation we work closely with our partner schools to ensure the best learning opportunities for all our children.

Every child is important at Chittlehampton and we aim to give them the broadest experience possible whilst maintaining high academic standards. We encourage independence; expect the highest principles of behaviour and involve our children in the local community at every opportunity to help them develop their full potential spiritually, morally, physically and intellectually.

We are all very proud of our school and work together to foster a true caring, happy and secure atmosphere. The school currently has 26 children on roll taught across two classes, a Foundation and KS1 class and a KS2 class. We also have a pre-school based in the KS1 classroom.

First and foremost we are looking for someone who can demonstrate that they are an excellent primary school practitioner with experience of working in the EYFS. The Executive Headteacher and Governors are committed to CPD and are keen to support candidates who wish to develop their professional practice and careers.
