French I & II Classes Ms. Allen

The assignment for French Classes I & II

Each student will write a Term paper 8-10 pages long. These papers will be submitted to Ms. Allen by email. The paper should be typed and double spaced with 12 fonts Times New Roman. You should have 3-5 internet resources to get information from.

Please read the rubric carefully. Also, see assignment instructions for guidelines if you do not have access to a computer.

Monday April 6: Each student will do an internet search to find a person, place or a period to write about. You are to email Ms. Allen to get approval on your topic. This contact information will be listed below.

Examples: French Revolution, French Literature, French painters, French musicians, French leaders etc. More topics listed below.

Tuesday April 7: Some of you should have received approvals on your topics by now. Continue to gather your resources. Remember your resource is where you will get your information from, so please make sure they are long enough. A one page resource will not enable you to create a paper that is 8-10 pages long.

Wednesday- Friday April 8-10: Continue with gathering information. By this time most of you should have received an email giving you approval or providing guidance on what direction you need to be going to get approval on your topic.

April 13-30: All students should be gathering sources for paper and starting to write. Please email if you have questions regarding what is expected of you while completing this assignment. Also, pay attention to your time frame or due date. [email protected] [email protected] Topics for papers

Hello Students The assignments given for French I & II will be submitted through email. I have listed my email at the top of this document. Please follow the list of instruction given on how assignments should be submitted to ensure proper credit is given for each assignment.

* All assignments should contain your full name (No nick names should be used).

* The assignment should have a title and date on it.

* Please put your class period on your paper.

* All assignments should be typed double spaced 12 fonts Times New Roman. If you do not have a computer then the paper should be hand written (10-12 pages) narrow ruled paper. If I cannot read your writing or wide ruled paper is used, points will be deducted.

* When submitting your completed assignment please put the title of the assignment in the subject area of the email (i.e. Term Paper or title of term paper).

* If you have any questions regarding an assignment, please send me an email. In the subject area please put “Question”. I will respond to questions within 48 hours or less. So please do not wait till the last minute to look at assignments. Please do not wait till the last minute to seek help.

*Please make sure you follow the attached rubric. *If you must write out your paper please submit through email by using your phones scan option or by taking pictures and emailing the entire paper.
