the ALEXANDER PRESS, 114-116 W. 27th St., N. Y. INTRODUCTION.

We offer in this catalogue the magnificent collection of United States Cents formed by Mr. Foster Lardner, of Providence, R. I. Mr. Lardner has been several years making this collection, and has chosen specimens only in the finest condition for his cabinet. There are several choice Cents of 1793, a number of 1794's, and splendid specimens of 1795, 1796, 1797, 1798, 1S04, 1805, 1807, 1808 and the later dates. We have issued a special catalogue containing four photographic plates illustrating forty-eight of the finest pieces in the collection which will be sent postpaid for $1.00. The edition is limited to fifty copies, so a prompt order is advisable. We have also catalogued for this sale an extensive collection of medals of Washington, Lincoln and Lafayette, several hundred varieties in all, which we think should be of special interest to collectors of these series.

Please forward your bids as early as possible.
