Also, the paper provides information about the hayfields floral richness, a great scientific value for Romania and Europe. The study of the flora was carried out in several stages: 2005-2008, 2013, 2017-2018. In the studied area, 397 taxa were identified, distributed in 82 families with therapeutic potential, represented by 164 medical taxa, 37 of them being in the European Pharmacopoeia 8.5. The study reveals that most plants contain: volatile oils (13.41%), tannins (12.19%), flavonoids (9.75%), mucilages (8.53%) etc. This plants can be used in the treatment of various human disorders: disorders of the digestive system, respiratory system, skin disorders, muscular and skeletal systems, genitourinary system, in gynaecological disorders, cardiovascular, and central nervous sistem disorders. In the study plants protected by law at European and national level were identified: Echium maculatum, Cephalaria radiata, Crambe tataria, Narcissus poeticus ssp. radiiflorus, Salvia nutans, Iris aphylla, Orchis morio, Orchis tridentata, Adonis vernalis, Dictamnus albus, Hammarbya paludosa etc. Keywords: Fărăgău, medicinal plants, human disease, Mureş County 1.

The extracts were tested against five pathogenic bacteria (Agrobacterium tumefaciens, Bacillus subtilis, Erwinia chrysanthemi, Escherichia coli and Xanthomonas phaseoli) using disc-diffusion method. Disc treated with standard antibiotic Gentamycin served as positive control in the experiment. Methanol and Hexane extracts showed highest activity against all the pathogens tested followed by Chloroform. However the aqueous extract had almost no inhibitory effect on the tested organisms. In the search for further light on the nature of dieciousness, the writer made some observations on Thalictrum, as repre- senting a genus of plants quite low in the evolutionary scale yet showing considerable specialization. The Ranunculaceae, among which the meadow-rues are included, are normally bisporan- giate plants and the lower species of Thalictrum are also bisporangiate, as for example, Thalictrum clavatum DC. and Thalictrum alpinum L. Thalictrum clavatum shows plainly that the ancestral type of the genus had the normal lateral stamens and terminal carpels so characteristic of Anthophyta, altho in the specialized species as will appear below there is no definite position for either stamens or carpels in the inter- mediate type of flowers. Thalictrum'dsycarpum Fisch. and Lall. and Thalictrum revolutum DC. are among the diecious species with many intermediate individuals, while Thalictrum dioicum L. and other species are normally strictly diecious. In Thalictrum dasycarpum there is no apparent sexual dimorphism between the staminate and carpellate plants except in the sporophylls themselves and even the stamens and carpels have an unusual similarity of appearance before the filaments elongate. A considerable per cent of the individuals are apparently strictly staminate or carpellate and from these extremes, inter- mediates grade through all degrees up to individuals which pro- duce nearly an equal number of stamens and carpels. Next to a pure staminate plant may be one completely staminate except that one flower has one normal carpel. A single sporophyll with female expression among thousands with male expression! Or there may be an individual having all carpellate flowers but one of these flowers has a single stamen.

The species occurs sporadically in the hemiboreal zone in western and central parts of the Palaearctic region. Most of the records are old and the species is considered to be declining at least in its European distribution range. Although the larval host plant(s) and the flight period of the adult are known, there are very scarce data available on the behaviour of larvae and adults, as well as on the preferred habitats of the species.

Following systematic Jibou Botanical Garden, investigations undertaken in the botanical garden a large number of spontaneous flora, spontaneous taxons were found from the Romanian flora (650 species of adventive and vascular plants and 20 species of moss). Also were inventoried 38 species of subspontaneous plants, adventive plants, permanently established in Romania and 176 vascular plant floristic analysis, Romania species that have migrated from culture and multiply by themselves throughout the garden. In the garden greenhouses were found 183 subspontaneous species and weeds, both from the Romanian flora as well as tropical plants introduced by accident. Thus the total number of wild species rises to 1055, a large number compared to the occupied area. Some rare spontaneous plants and endemic to the Romanian flora (Galium abaujense, Cephalaria radiata, Crocus banaticus) were found. Cultivated species that once migrated from culture, accommodated to environmental conditions and conquered new territories; standing out is the Cyrtomium falcatum fern, once escaped from the greenhouses it continues to develop on their outer walls. Jibou Botanical Garden is the second largest exotic species can adapt and breed further without any botanical garden in Romania, after "Anastasie Fătu" care [11].
