Dear Friend,

I want to congratulate you on taking the first big step and having the motivation to find out more about Muay Thai Kickboxing (MTK). Now, you are one step away from discovering the 1 thing you can do every time to consistently win any fight quickly and efficiently. Now, I am assuming – you want to know how to consistently win any fight.

My name is Jason Froehlich, owner of Folsom Martial Arts Center, and I have been on a quest to reveal and give you a Muay Thai Kickboxing Fighter Field Guide that will help you develop superior fighting skills and shapes you into an advanced fighter no matter what your skill level is now.

When I set out to fulfill this mission and help others create this personal MTK fighting arsenal of superiority, I wanted to destroy the growing fact that only 1-2% of people who start in MTK or self- defense training succeed at becoming an advanced fighter who possess ALL the skills to be consistent at winning any fight.

Let me explain this real quick because you might have been an individual who has tried other personal protection, self-defense, martial art, or “street” fighting programs, systems, or methods in the past and have failed or just haven’t felt like you have received the skills you can feel confident about.

If you have been one of these individuals who feel this way, let me assure you that it was NOT your fault!

If you have NO experience, NOT a problem because what I am going to share with you will help you develop the right path for your training.

Now, it isn’t that the martial arts industry has been telling you all lies. And, I think we all would agree that in order to develop advanced fighting skills, feel safe at home or when we are out we need to become informed by gathering enough information, manage all the risks involved with that includes maintaining a security level that fits your particular situation, and if you are somewhat disciplined in your training you will have a successful outcome.

That is all truthful. But, that would be like me telling a person who’s searching for weight loss that if you eat right and you will lose weight. Everyone knows you need to eat right and exercise, but it isn’t a strategy.

If we know we need to gather the right information, learn to manage risk, and be disciplined with our training, then why do only 1-2% of the individuals who begin a martial arts or self- defense program, system, or method succeed?

Before I answer this or you start to lose enthusiasm, this number does not reflect how easy or difficult it is to gain the necessary MTK fighting skills to end and win any street fight fast and efficiently.

Let me reveal the numbers a little more clearly and the facts behind this percentage that I am presenting to you. The reason I want to reveal this to you is because when someone tells me that only 1-2% of people are succeeding at something it excites me to figure out why because I know there is something really wrong with what people are presenting as solutions to solving your biggest challenge – confidently knowing you can consistently win any fight because you have the combative fight skills to quickly end any fight.

The reason I know there is something wrong is because numbers are consistent in everything in this world. You will see these numbers over and over again anywhere you look. For example, take weight loss, you can take any decent weight loss program and find 100 people who say they want to lose weight. Out of these 100 people, 80 of them WILL NOT succeed at all or gain more weight. 15 will lose some weight (probably about 5-8 pounds), and only 5 will reach their target goal or beyond.

For martial arts and MTK, this number is even lower. Out of the 100, 80 will gain zero to no skills that will help them end or win any ring fight, street fight or violent encounter, 19 will gain some skills, and ONLY 1 or 2 will develop the advanced fighting skills that will consistently save their life in a street fight or violent encounter.

This is commonly called the 80/20 Rule, and whether you like it or not, it repeats in business, weight loss, job performance, fighting and just about everything else in this world.

Before I began my MTK Course over a decade ago, I started to see there were some real problems in the martial arts industry that were not helping people succeed or reach their ability to become advanced fighters. Rather, I began to see a trend where many schools, businesses, and martial art “experts” were not providing positive solutions for people. And, they really didn’t care if you gained the fighting skills that you needed or not. They were just trying to keep you happy so you would keep paying them money. Basically, you were getting ripped off!

So, if I only see that 1-2% of people are succeeding at something, I know there is no reasonable strategy in place for winning – that is gaining the ring or street fighting skills to consistently win any fight. Because if there were, then 20% would be achieving good results and accomplishing the ability to gain advanced fighting skills to consistently end and win a fight or violent encounter.

If you can allow me to operate from this view point, then I might be able to explain to you the #1 thing you “must” know about Muay Thai Kickboxing to win any fight quickly and efficiently without getting ripped off by martial arts schools who don’t know how to teach this to you. That, I will share with you shortly.

In training there are “standards” that have been established through time. Now, there is always going to be people who buy the striped down versions to anything, but this is simply because they are impatient and want the quick fix. The top 20% are going to be those who are looking for the right solution to their problem and will look for the right timing to get involved to use their “do whatever it takes attitude” to reach their goal and gain the skills to win. If you have stuck with me this far in my MTK Report, then you are in that top 20%.

So, why do so many people fail at gaining real-world MTK combative fighting skills? Is there any doubt in anyone’s mind that in order to get these skills you need to have the right MTK combatives training? These are the standards that we know; we need to get the RIGHT information, practice, train, and drill ALL the MTK combative fighting techniques and principles for winning. It’s not really a question of what MTK combative fighting skills are needed. It will either come down to a strong determination or a STRATEGY for developing discipline over time to gain these skills and reach your personal goal.

If you were wondering why 80% get nothing or lose in just about anything, you already know the answer: we do things when we are ready – when we get serious. It is when we want to achieve it more than how we feel in the present moment. I had many great opportunities in my life; however, I just wasn’t ready for them.

I wanted to share this truthful fact with you because no one in the martial arts or MTK industry is going to have the courage to tell you this because they fear you will be discouraged with the real facts.

We know the truth about gaining advanced MTK fighter skills – you need to have a strategy in place to gain MTK combative fighting skills to consistently win any fight. All the other stuff is just for the impatient and “quick fix” kind of people, who will get their butt kicked. Not you!

The other reason these MTK “experts” don’t talk about this one MAJOR FACTOR is because they really don’t have a solution that will help YOU. It is just a generic “do this” kind of solution they give to everyone since they just learned something from their instructor and never really sat down, studied, and taken the time to develop a system that you (or anyone else) can follow and develop the MTK skills to win or end any real fight against any size attacker or multiple attackers. Because they don’t look for solutions that will fit YOU, nothing changes.

They don’t know if you might not be physically strong, that you are not some muscle bound huge guy, you aren’t that athletic or coordinated, you have never done any kind of fighting before, or they might not know you don’t have a lot of time to spend training.

Will This Be A Waste Of My Time?

I know all this sounds good, but I also know there is a growing question in your mind being as busy as you are; you do not have time to waste on something that won’t help you immediately build consistent advanced MTK combative fighting skills you could use tomorrow, should someone attack you.

I understand that you have to juggle your work life, home life, family life, hobby life, and still fit time in somewhere for you to develop personal protection skills.

Finding time is probably the most precious commodity in your life.

Just being able to find one hour here or there is like finding time in your busy week of getting to and from work, helping drop the kids off at school, sports, and other activities, finishing your “honey-do” list for your spouse, and running down errands to actually finding time to spend doing things you want to do in order to save your sanity.

Your life is surrounded with so many other distractions that you seldom have time to even think about your personal protection; however, you realize that in this ever growing uncertain and unsafe world it is important and you are ready to finally develop the consistent combative fighting skills that will end any fight.

You’ve probably come to the realization that this world isn’t going to change and you and/or your family’s safety is something that needs to be addressed. You also know this is keeping you from:

 Feeling like you can protect yourself against larger or multiple attackers!  Worrying all the time someone might break in your house at night and not knowing what to do!  Being certain that if someone jumps you after work one day, you won’t be left for DEAD!  Knowing how to defend yourself against some doped up druggie who pulls a knife or gun on you!  Having the confidence to handle some punk who is trying to start something with you while you are out with your significant other!

Life isn’t easy and you know this firsthand. The other big question on your mind right now is, “Will I know these MTK combative fighting skills are improve quickly with my training?”

I understand you don’t have time to waste, and secondly (probably most importantly), you want to know you can fight and win with the skills you are gaining. That confidence is paramount in anyone’s ability to defend themselves.

I don’t want to sound like this program helps everyone, but there are very few who have started my program, followed the strategic levels I outline for , and not see the improvement in their skill within days and weeks of their training.

It sounds almost too good to be true, but those are the facts.

I don’t think anyone would argue that not all programs work or consistently work for everyone. Not everything works for everyone. I don’t believe my program can work for everyone, and it hasn’t!

There are many who it hasn’t work for. Why? Because they fail to implement the strategy I helped develop for them – basically they weren’t as ready as they thought they were. The price you pay for knowing a winning strategy is executing it so you will win.

The 2 Factors That Will STOP You From Getting The Advanced MTK Fighting Skills!

1. Poor assumptions 2. Expectations

Poor assumptions are like bad code in a computer. Poor code leads to poor output; therefore, having poor assumptions will lead to having poor conclusions. I have realized that in ordinary life, and with personal protection development, most of our assumptions are incorrect. Why? I will explain in greater detail in a minute.

Expectations can be tricky because they affect how we feel, and how we feel greatly affects the way we think and process information in the world around us. Expectations are a belief that has an feeling attached to it. It is a belief about the future you create in your mind.

I don’t call expectations “poor” expectation. There is a reason for this. I’m referring to ANY belief about the future you have created in your mind. I suggest that “all” expectations about martial arts, self-defense, or personal protection are limiting beliefs, and are therefore not helpful, and usually harmful.

Having the pleasure to help so many people gain MTK combative principles over the years, I can tell you that those who move quickest to gain these advanced fighting skills have the least amount of expectations attached to their training. They are the ones who share humbleness which has led me to believe that humility is the absence of expectation.

What assumptions are you making about self-defense or knowing how to fight, and does it matter?

I propose that you are likely making many poor assumptions, and yes, it does matter.

Which Belief Do You Have Going Through Your Mind Right Now?

So, we are talking about you getting consistent combative fighting skills where you can have the confidence to know you can win any fight. I would like to ask which would you choose, A or B?

A. I just need to find the right winning martial arts system, be disciplined enough to follow it, and get the results that I am hoping it will deliver.

OR

B. Advanced combative fighting skills are just like any other great skill; skills are developed where I have to know what it is I need to learn, have a plan to learn it, and go to work applying myself?

The majority of people searching for a way to develop these fighting skills will choose “A,” unless they know someone is watching and in that case will be smart enough to choose B. The “A’s” are those 80% that I spoke about.

So if you think the answer is “A,” the information I am sharing with you will have no use at all. But if you think the answer is “B,” then I can help you develop the fighting skills you are looking to gain and give you the confidence to know how to use the skills in ANY fight.

What “works” and what is success anyway?

Let’s begin describing what really works and what success is. We really must first “define” what is being said. What do I mean by the word “works?”

I mean “what do I need to do to develop the advanced fighting skill to consistently win ANY fight?” I say “skill” because as I said earlier, consistently winning any fight is really a skill that you can develop like any other skill.

This is the question that most martial art or self-defense “experts” seem to ignore. We get caught up in the appearance of someone showing us how “great” they are on their website, Youtube, or some other video channel and “assume” that those we are learning from and following actually know what they are doing. The contrary is usually true when it comes to us assuming they know what they are doing. I experienced this myself, both as a student and as an instructor in many different interests besides just martial arts in my life.

A Common Mistake I Have Made Several Times

When I got involved in my martial study back in 1991, I was a newbie and had NO IDEA how to fight. I just knew after I saw someone get beat down in front of me by a large dude, I decided right then and there that I never wanted to be on the receiving end of any fight like that. My studies started before the Marine Corps, took me through the Marine Corps, and while on the All Marine Martial Art Team in 1997-1998; as well as when I left. When I did leave the Marines, I walked into a school and started working like many other instructors. It was a nice school. They had all the combat equipment and private and group classes you could imagine to use as your mode for learning how to defend yourself.

The place just exuded success and I had these visions of people being able to defend off anyone from the training we were giving them. There also appeared to be so much success and confidence exuded by the owners and those who were teaching that it was just natural to assume they knew what they were doing.

Everyone just seemed to be so excited and loved what they were doing. It didn’t occur to me to question anything?

I think most of us at the time I was at the studio coaching people to develop MTK and personal protection skills “believed” something along those lines, and that, of course led to some sort of expectations.

Taking Responsibility To Teach What Will Save Your Bacon

Long story short, it took me a few months to realize that everyone was just following the same nonsense and going around in circles. The techniques and other stuff were the same for everyone. In reality, nothing was strategically fitting the individual person, nor was there anyone teaching you how to develop and execute a winning strategy. You either blindly do what the instructor shows you or you won’t gain fighting skill. We were just told to, “Take them through the motions and they will figure it out on their own.” The elements of combative fighting skills were there, but very few people were getting them.

No one (back then) really thought about what the goal was. You could say that we thought success was just showing up and training. You should figure all the other stuff out on your own.

I began to start feeling there had to be more to this. You see, I came from a very different background of thought. I was a U.S. Marine and was trained much differently than all the other instructors.

As a Marine and part of that elite small group on the All Marine Corps Martial Art Team, I learned some very important elements that helped me create the MTK Program that you will have access to now. Back during that time at the school I was teaching, I began to start my own small group from people approaching me asking if I would train them how to fight for real. This led to some other very interesting facts.

Further Beliefs That Were Limiting

Even though I was creating my own small group at the time and helping others get far better skill development from their training we still didn’t know what we were doing. But we didn’t know that, we just believed 100% in what we were doing.

When I left that school back in 2005, I thought I was onto something really great. I thought I cracked the code that could help anyone consistently learn how to win any fight.

I would like to add that when you help others succeed at combatives training, you begin to get over confident and make another poor assumption. You think you can teach anyone to consistently do this. I quickly realized this was FALSE.

Facing The Facts

About three to four years after leaving that school I was so convinced that luck had more to do with people gaining real-world fighting skills I was ready to toss in the towel. What I mean by tossing in the towel was I was ready to quit helping others learn what I knew. It is safe to say that I would have continued to do what I do consistently to sharpen my skills forever, but I was almost ready to leave it all behind.

The Moment That Changed It All

It was back in early 2010 that I began rereading Sun Tzu’s book The Art of War. So, when it comes to learning how to protect myself I read on various combative subjects from previous and ancient master on combat.

When I reread the book, I realized there was an outlined plan that when followed flawlessly would assure your success in almost any case. It wasn’t necessary spelled out in the book, but further study and my experience helped me pull it all out.

The “Holistic” Strategy For Developing Fight Skills

The short version for developing consistent fighting skills to win any fight dates back further than I can document in any written source. It probably was taking place underground somewhere remote; nevertheless, I have taken the time to dig it out and develop something extraordinary for you to use and get immediate results with.

You see, when it comes to a fight strategy, not everything works for everyone. One thing may work for one person and that same “thing” will not work for someone else.

However, it turns out that it wasn’t because people were different, but rather what might affect one persons success isn’t what will affect someone else’s. For the most part, our bodies function pretty much the same; however, how each of us uses these slight differences together differs from one person to the next.

I spent the time learning how they function together so I can help you develop a strategy to support each of your strengths and weaknesses and still win any fight consistently.

Makes sense, right?

The beauty of this is that you don’t have to know, or study for years trying to figure out what principles you need to learn to win. I have done all the ground work for the last two decades so you can simply take what you learn and develop a fighting strategy to win. You just simply follow what I show you that support each of the principles of fighting.

If one thing is true, then all things must be true

When I began reviewing Sun Tzu’s work in a different light, I started to recognize a pattern in my life that unfolded in very much the same way over and over again.

In Sun Tzu’s book The Art of War, he made this promise: “apply the principles and win, ignore the principles and lose.”

I began to get a little excited because it was true. Whenever I applied these principles, I would win and every time I would ignore them, I would lose.

It took me several months of study and trial and error to finally figure out all the principles that need to be in place in order for you to win any fight, but it was well worth the time spent because I clearly see the principles common to consistently win – should you have to fight.

There are several principles that are guiding your success, but there is ONE principle that it comes down to that will determine if you will win or lose. It really boils down to one. And SIMPLE is always BEST!

I could see right away what needed to happen with people searching for a way to gain real-world fighting skills; however, I decided to test the idea before releasing it to the general public. What I did was sit down and formulated a system that someone could follow to consistently develop the advanced combative fighting skills every week until they reached their goal of proficiency to use them at will.

To my enjoyment, the system worked almost effortlessly. The people improved their skills quickly and continued to improve as the weeks went by.

Realization About Success

I quickly realized that I needed to “define” success for these individuals who were getting such great results or they would fall into the trap I fell into so many times in my life.

This led me to the Level 1 Muay Thai Kickboxing Fighting Success Strategy – Consistent Winning.

It’s based on a principle of simply getting momentum so you can continue to keep that momentum going. First you must just get some kind of results before you focus on much bigger results. So, I wanted them to simply just win their first match against an unskilled opponent. When you focus on reaching just one small objective, you save a huge amount of time, and avoid things that aren’t important.

However, with self-defense, it is too easy to get lucky for a day or a week, and possibly even a month before you realize that it is just luck, or you find out that the people you are training with are just taking it easy on you and never really testing your skill. Bad thing about all this is, you only find out when you get knocked out or seriously injured in a live attack.

Therefore, fighting skills had to be measured over a period of sessions rather than just how did I do for the month. This way, I could determine if what the individual was doing was supporting that plan which would directly affect their ability to consistently win any fight.

There are variables that affect your success beyond consistently winning any fight. Limiting beliefs come into play, and limiting beliefs can be overcome if you are willing to do the work.

So I had them focus only on getting “consistent skill development,” because if you can develop proficiency in just one skill a week, then you can win any fight. The only difference that could undermine your success would be a change in your execution of the strategic system that I help outline for you. Meaning, only the operator can change.

A Common Trait Of All Successful People

In my MTK training program despite my best efforts 20% never engage. And if they would just engage, they would begin moving towards their goal in a measurable way.

Why don’t they?

There could be several reasons why, but the single biggest reason is limiting beliefs. We tend to get in our own way.

Even in my program, I see the same traits showing up time and time again with the individuals who are successful and the ones who don’t get the results they are hoping for. What I have done now in my program is built in a unique model for anyone to get past limiting beliefs and moving toward your goal.

The First Big Factor For Winning Any Fight

Looking back on my life, there was a major change that occurred. I was 25 years old. There was a moment of self-reflection that caused me to search long and hard for all the ideas I could find to help me become successful.

While I had learned enough in that short time to be in a good place in my life, I was far from where I wanted to be. I think many of us can relate to that. The unfortunate thing was that no matter what “idea” I tried, I ended up with the same results over and over again. I just seemed to be focused on finding “the big idea” that would propel me to success.

The crazy thing is. It wasn’t some big idea that I needed. The changing moment in my life came when I realized that I was responsible for everything and anything that happened in my life. I discovered that subconsciously I held a limiting belief that “something outside of me” would undermine my success or ability to win. This was my poor assumption.

It was the change in that single limiting belief that changed everything for me. Knowledge and ideas will come freely to anyone who is free to choose. The price is the willingness to take responsibility. You have to realize that you are the commander and chief of your thoughts and ultimately your actions. But everything starts with your thoughts.

You cannot win without this.

I had mentioned earlier the 80/20 rule. What do the 80% have in common? They have the limiting belief I just spoke about controlling their life. They never completely engage and give it their all because they believe it might be a waste of their time. Why? Because they believe that something outside of themselves may undermine their efforts.

I heard this said once and it is unquestionably true, “I don’t think you should expect yourself to do something extraordinary without making a few changes in your life.”

In order to bring about the fastest change, my suggestion would be to surround yourself with like- minded people. That is why the community of individuals (just like you) here at Folsom Martial Arts Center is one of the reasons so many are successful. Each of them are successful in reaching their goals and they encourage you in the same way. They aren’t just focused on themselves. They champion the process it takes to consistently develop the skills to win any fight and evaluate their progress along the way.

You can always tell what someone believes by listening to what they say. Do they talk about how they are responsible for everything that happens in their life? Are they quick to react emotionally and jump to conclusions about things before knowing all the facts? This makes them reactive instead of proactive. Do they think about all the key elements involved, or they just looking for shortcuts? Do they talk about all the parts that helped them get to success?
