Living in south Florida my whole life, I have been exposed to the colorful, vibrant and lush plants and animals. It has become a main component of my art. I have decided to take on this art call mural because it’s my opportunity to give back through my talents to the place I have called home for over 30 years; south Florida.

The images in the mural are local plants and animals; The painted bunting bird: is Rich colorful bird that migrates to south Florida in winter fall and spring. Symbolism: Sometimes called the "Nonpareil," meaning "unrivaled," a fair way to describe the unbelievable colors of the male Painted Bunting. Colors are very reminiscent of the Haitian flag.

Green anole: a native south Florida lizard found in the trees and native plants. Symbolism: Seeing the Green Anole in our waking life, pictures, dreams, flashes, or on trees, is symbolic of forthcoming love or relationships. And also signifies the closeness that is due to come about in a current relationship. The Green Anole Lizard can be quite charismatic and friendly.

The south Florida butterflies; the zebra striped butterfly is the state butterfly.
