A FOOTBALL LIFE: PREMIERE OF THE ONE-HOUR NFL DOCUMENTARY TO BE SHOWN AT THE HALL

CANTON, OHIO – The NFL Network’s “: Rodney Harrison” will be premiered tomorrow (Sept. 23) at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The film is a one-hour documentary produced by NFL Films telling the story of the former safety who won two Super Bowls.

Harrison was selected in the fifth round of the 1994 draft by the San Diego Chargers out of Western Illinois and went on to have a very successful 15-year career in the NFL. Harrison played for the San Diego Chargers (1994-2002) and the (2003-08), and made seven in 13 career NFL Playoff games.

In addition to winning XXXVIII and XXXIX, Harrison was also named All-Pro three times. The legendary safety finished his career with 1,198 combined tackles, 30.5 sacks, 16 forced , and 34 interceptions. Harrison is now an analyst for Football Night in America with NBC Sports.

Guests visiting the Hall will be able to view “A Football Life: Rodney Harrison” during a special screening on Saturday (Sept. 24), as well. Both Friday and Saturday the film will run continuously from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the cost is included with museum admission.

Enshrinees from the Class of 2016 along with numerous other Hall of Fame members will receive the spectacular Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence by Kay® Jewelers during ceremonies held in NFL stadiums during the 2016 NFL regular season. The Hometown Hall of Famer™ program presented by Ford honors Hall of Fame heroes with a program and permanent plaque to honor the Hall of Famer’s hometown support. Now in its 4th year, the US Army-Pro Football Hall of Fame Award for Excellence honors 25 high school students nationally for excellence in community service, academics and athletics. Construction on HOF Village, a $500 million development project, is under way in Canton to transform the Hall of Fame’s campus.
