About the 2019 Patriots Hall of Fame Inductees Harrison played safety for the Patriots during the final six seasons of his 15-year NFL career from 2003- 2008. During his first two seasons with the team, he led NFL defensive backs in tackles with 140 in 2003 and 138 in 2004. Additionally, he is the all-time leader in sacks by a defensive back with 30 ½ overall, nine of which came during his Patriots career. Harrison was voted team captain all six seasons and helped lead the team to back-to-back championships (Super Bowl XXXVIII and XXXIX). He also earned two appearances. Harrison is being inducted through the Patriots fan vote. The Patriots are the only NFL team that allows fans to decide which player or coach is inducted to the Hall of Fame each year.

Gray played with the Patriots for six seasons from 1973-1979. By the start of his third season, he was viewed as one of the best left tackles in the game. He was a key member of the Patriots as he helped set an NFL and Patriots rushing record in a season with 3,165 yards gained. Gray made four trips to the Pro Bowl during his career with two of those trips being with the Patriots. Gray finished his 11-year NFL career playing for Houston and New Orleans. Gray passed away in November of 2001 at the age of 49. He was elected into the team’s hall of fame by The Hall’s Senior Selection committee.
