Illinois Tech esports GBM Meeting 1/12/17 Purpose a) Provide to the player, whether casual or competitive, the resources and opportunities to be more involved in the esports scene, b) Study issues of esports significance, c) Involve the Illinois Tech Community in the going-ons of our endeavors, d) Participate in various forms of esports through competing, shoutcasting, streaming, cosplaying and more, e) Instill in each member a sense of camaraderie and appreciation for the game(s), f) Coordinate home events and – if resources allow – tournaments in order to expose participants to competitive gaming, develop critical teamwork skills, and help participants make connections beyond the screen. g) Create the foundation of a esports committee to ensure the ongoing, non-sporadic support of all esport endeavors on and off campus.
