17-18.04.2019 • Within the frames of his visit President of the Republic of Cyprus, held meetings with the President , Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze and other government officials. • Discussed: Enhancing cooperation in the fields of economy, tourism, culture, education, archeology and research activities, situation in Georgia’s occupied territories, Georgia’s European and -Atlantic integration. • On the sidelines of the visit the Cyprus-Georgian Business Forum was held. Up to 100 companies participated in the forum representing different sectors including international investments, IT services, tourism, legal and tax consultations, shipbuilding and other. • As part of the visit bilateral agreements between Georgia and Cyprus were signed on health care cooperation, the exchange and mutual protection of classified information and agriculture cooperation. Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze Visited and 15.04.2019 • Georgian delegation headed by the Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze held meetings with the , Prime Minister Vasilica Viorica Dăncilă, President of the Senate Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu. • Discussed: Enhancing political and economic cooperation, importance of the Caspian Sea - Black Sea international transport corridor, Georgia's progress on the path of European and Euro-Atlantic integration, Black Sea security, grave humanitarian situation in the occupied territories of Georgia. • Within the frames of the visit agreement on Cultural Cooperation between Georgia and Romania was signed. MORE Permanent Representatives Accredited with the UN Paid a Working Visit to Georgia 15-21.04.2019 TBILISI • Permanent Representatives of the Dominican Republic, the Kingdom of Eswatini, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Senegal held meetings with President Salome Zourabichvili, Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, Minister of Foreign Affairs and other government officials. • Discussed: Security and human rights situation in Georgia’s occupied territories, Georgian Government’s reforms and cooperation between UN and Georgia. • Within the scope of the visit the UN permanent representatives visited the occupation line in Khurvaleti and the FOLLOW US ON: IDP settlement in Tserovani to observe the situation on the ground, also travelled to Georgia's regions Adjara and Kakheti and got acquainted with the services of various government institutions.
