Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia Kör Deltävlingar På Nürburgring! Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia kör deltävlingar på Nürburgring! Porsche satsar hårdare än någonsin på Carrera Cup Scandinavia. 2018 får serien tydlig internationell prägel med ett exotiskt gästspel på världens mest mytomspunna motorsportanläggning. Efter en fantastisk säsong 2017 med en av de mest dramatiska finalerna i seriens historia är förberedelserna i full gång inför 2018. Sedan tidigare är det klart att Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia genomförs med ett delvis nytt format. Ambitionen är tio nya 911 GT3 Cup (991 II) som slåss om mästerskapssegern. Samt ytterligare tio 911 GT3 Cup (991 I) som tävlar i Porsche Approved Cup. Den nya instegsklassen i Carrera Cup. Störst bland nyheterna för året är att serien får en tydlig internationell prägel. Hela 6 av 14 deltävlingar körs utanför Sveriges gränser. Två tävlingshelger, 19-20 maj och 8-9 september, genomförs på Rudskogen Motorsenter i Norge. En timmes bilväg från Oslo. – Vi hade en väldigt lyckad tävling på Rudskogen i år. Det är Skandinaviens modernaste motorsportarena och en mycket spektakulär bana. Därför är vi väldigt glada att det blir ”dubbelt upp” 2018, säger Raine Wermelin direktör Porsche Sverige. De mest dramatiska nytillskotten i kalendern är tveklöst sjunde och åttonde deltävlingarna som körs på klassiska Nürburgring i de tyska Eifelbergen söder om Köln. Banan är en av de mest berömda och utmanande motorsportanläggningarna i världen. I direkt anslutning till Grand Prix-banan ligger den legendariska nordslingan, ”Nordschleife”, där Porsche 911 GT2 RS nyligen krossade varvrekordet för produktionsbilar med tiden 6:47,30 minuter. Porsche innehar även banans absoluta varvrekord. 1983 avverkade Stefan Bellof varvet på 6:11,13 minuter i en Porsche 956. – Äntligen blir det verklighet, fortsätter Wermelin. Till sommaren skrivs historia när Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia kör en tävlingshelg på Nürburgring. Helig mark för motorsportentusiaster och en plats där Porsche alltid har skördat stora framgångar. Tävlingarna genomförs i samarbete med Porsche Motorsport, som driver Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland och som har ett av Europas mest konkurrenskraftiga startfält. Porsche Sverige har fört diskussioner med Porsche Motorsport sedan mitten av förra säsongen och kan nu presentera ett mycket spektakulärt upplägg. De två mästerskapen ställs mot varandra på banan samtidigt. En enorm kraftmätning mellan Skandinaviens och europeiska fastlandets snabbaste Porsche-förare. – De senaste åren har Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia utvecklats till en mycket stark racingserie med hög kvalitet på både förare och team, säger Oliver Köppen, ansvarig för Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland. Det här projektet har utvecklats ur det nära samarbetet med Porsche Sverige och vi ser fram mot att dela Nürburgring med skandinaverna. Två race med startfält på hela 40 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. Det blir en fantastisk upplevelse, avslutar Köppen. Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia 2018 avgörs under sju tävlingshelger med två deltävlingar per helg. Med start på Ring Knutstorp första helgen i maj och final på Mantorp Park i september. Drabbningen på Nürburgring går av stapeln 3-5 augusti. Circuit includes: • Racetrack ( 3.2 km), • Rallycross track • Supermoto track • All modern conditions of the competitors, and visitors Additional information: • Total investments at approximately 4.8 million EUROS, of which approximately 3.2 million euros the came form European Regional Development Fund. • Board of Estonian Autosport Union has assessed the project as the highest priority in Estonian motorsports. = all northen Europe and scandinavian series • GT1 • GT2 • GT3 • WTCC • Formula Renault 2,0 • Formula 3 Competitive landscape • By today threre are total of 18 racetracks with total lenght of 54,7km in 1000km distance from Audru. • Compared to Audruring, most tracks have approximately the same lengh or are shorter • Newest track with in Northen Europe is Audruring (built 2012) with its all modern facilities • Second newest is Gotland Ring in Sweden (built 2009 • Most advanced motocenter is Vålerbanen track in Norway with its multible configurations and with its 7,5Km of tarmac roads.
