Bayer 04 Leverkusen presents new main and shirt sponsor with SunPower to the sunny side of football
Leverkusen - Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen has successfully finished the search for a main and tricot sponsor just before the start of the season 2011/2012: SunPower Corp., a U.S. manufacturer of high-efficiency solar cells, solar panels and solar systems has signed a three-year contract with the German vice-champion until the 30.06.2014. In addition to the tricot sponsorship, SunPower will be represented prominently in the BayArena on the gangs, a lodge, boards and on all advertising funds from Bayer 04 Leverkusen. On the financial framework, both sides agreed to keep silent.
"The German market is of enormous importance for us. We see great growth potential in Germany for SunPower - that's why we want to expand our commitment here. With Bayer 04 Leverkusen, we have found the right partner, where performance is also very important", explained Reinhard Lampe, Director SunPower GmbH, Germany, on the occasion of the company presentation at the Leverkusen BayArena.

We have broken new ground with our international tender. I am very satisfied with the result. The topic of "solar energy" fits to Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
