It aims at developing a technical design and modernisation of the rail track (59 km), catenary (103 km) and signalling and systems (23 km); installation of noise-proofing facilities in urban areas, replacing level crossings by over/underpasses (9) and bridges (2). The Action is a part of the Global Project aiming at accelerating the removal of a current technical bottleneck on the Orient/East-Med Corridor. In the long term, the Action will allow a promotion of the use of the sustainable transport modes with less environmental footprint. MAP-Cohesion 2016-BG-TMC-0083-S From East 2 West: The Action concerns studies leading to the final 2,269,500 Corridor access design for the completion of the basic through the port of infrastructures of the core Port of Burgas (Bulgaria) Burgas and of its rail connections with the TEN-T Core Corridor Orient/East-Med. The Action comprises of three main activities: Infrastructural design for the completion of the quay wall of port terminal Burgas East 2, of Burgas West and last mile connections study of the railway line that links the port to the Orient/East-Med Corridor. The Action is a necessary step for the development of the port of Burgas as a key transport node within the OEM Core Network Corridor. The Action will enhance the transport of goods from and towards Burgas and it will stimulate the economic potential of the region. MAP-Cohesion 2016-EU-TMC-0113-M 2016 SESAR The Action contributes to the deployment of SESAR 1,045,091 Deployment and is aimed at facilitating the coordinated and Programme synchronised deployment of a cluster of 7 implementation - Implementation Projects (IPs) in Bulgaria, Croatia, Cluster 2: Cohesion Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Slovenia. These IPs are aligned with the Pilot Common Projects (PCP, Regulation (EU) No 716/2014) and will enhance ATM performance. This Action includes IPs of two out of six ATM Functionalities (AFs): - AF3 Flexible Airspace Management and Free Route - AF5 Initial System Wide Information Management MAP-General 2016-EU-TM-0117-M 2016 SESAR The Action contributes to the deployment of SESAR 36,829 Deployment and is aimed at facilitating the coordinated and Programme synchronised deployment of a cluster of 65 implementation - Implementation Projects (IPs) in EU Member States. Cluster 1: General These IPs are aligned with the Pilot Common Projects (PCP, Regulation (EU) No 716/2014) and will enhance ATM performance. This Action includes IPs of all six ATM Functionalities (AFs): - AF1 Extended Arrival Management and Performance Based Navigation in high density Terminal Manoeuvring Areas - AF2 Airport Integration and Throughput - AF3 Flexible Airspace Management and Free Route - AF4 Network Collaborative Management - AF5 Initial System Wide Information Management - AF6 Initial Trajectory Information Sharing
