Situated on the 14th century quay, The Red Lion is an AA four star inn with a spectacular outlook, characterful detail and varied history, with the building, originally a beer and cider house, dating back to the 18th century.

The cosy Snug Bar and Harbour Bar offer an extensive all-day menu with daily specials, light bites and classic pub favourites, whilst the Harbour Restaurant serves an evening menu of line-caught fish and seasonal produce from Clovelly Court Gardens.

Each of the 17 calm and comfortable bedrooms offers sea views of the harbour, historic quay and beyond. New Inn

Located in heart of the village, along the cobbled high street, the New Inn is an AA three star inn with charming period features, eight cosy bedrooms, a welcoming bar and over 400 years of history.

The bedrooms are decorated in a William Morris, Arts and Crafts style and offer quaint views of the high street or over the village rooftops towards the sea.

The Up-along Bar serves homemade comfort food and real ale and not to be missed is one of Bea’s cream teas with her famous scones (rumoured to be Devon’s best).
