At such times, the true nature of scouting appears with the true application of the scout promise ‘and help others in all conditions’, and ‘duty towards others’. Scouts in the Arab region in coordination with national authorities have taken upon themselves to server their communities through large scale coordinated efforts and initiatives that affected their communities and countries. Efforts included raising awareness about the disease and its precautions, sterilizing and sanitization campaigns, supporting people in need and caring for elders among other activities. These efforts have also demonstrated a role model in volunteering that really manifests the scout movement as the most prominent youth movement and made us all proud of our affiliation to scouting. Achievements mentioned in this report are a sample of what the Arab Scouts have done and still are doing during this period. Their efforts have amounted to over six million serving over 11 million beneficiaries. It is worth mentioning that these efforts not only served the community but also the future generation through its contributions towards 13 sustainable development goals I would like to take this opportunity to applaud the efforts of the scouts and the Arab Scout Organizations for this tremendous and effective effort that will be forever remembered in the history of scouting.
