Amends (October 31, 1998) Written by: Joss Whedon Teaser EXT. DUBLIN STREET - NIGHT (1838) A Dickensian vista of Christmas. Snow covers the street (though it is not falling now), people and carriages milling about in it. A group of five or so CAROLLERS stand by one corner, singing a traditional Christmas air. A young man (DANIEL) in a dark suit makes his way through the people, quickly and nervously. He looks about him constantly. He passes an alley and he is suddenly GRABBED and pulled inside. He lands in a heap in the corner, the figure that grabbed him standing over him. ANGEL Why, Daniel, wherever are you going? Angel is dressed similarly -- though a bit more elegantly -- to Daniel. He is smiling graciously, and in full vampface. Daniel cowers, scrambling backwards. DANIEL You -- you're not human... ANGEL Not of late, no. DANIEL What do you want? ANGEL Well, it happens that I'm hungry, Daniel, and seeing as you're somewhat in my debt... DANIEL Please... I can't... ANGEL A man playing at cards should have a natural intelligence or a great deal of money and you're sadly lacking in both. So I'll take my winnings my own way. He grabs him, hoists him up. Daniel cannot wrest Angel's grasp from his throat. He Buffy Angel Show babbles quietly: DANIEL The lord is my shepherd, I shall not want... he maketh me to lie down in green pastures... he... ANGEL Daniel. Be of good cheer. (smiling) It's Christmas! He bites. INT. MANSION - ANGEL'S BEDROOM - NIGHT Angel awakens in a start, sweating. -

FROM THE PRESIDENT Dr. Scott Ralls President Dear Wake Tech graduates, It gives me great honor as President of Wake Tech to congratulate you on your graduation. Many classes have come before you, but none have experienced a year like the Class of 2020. In many ways, it has been a year of challenge for all of us. For many of you, the weight of being a college student during a challenging year also comes while working, parenting, caretaking and other life activities that most community college students face while attending college. That is why your achievement that we celebrate today is particularly momentous, and why you and your family should take great pride in your accomplishment. Your resiliency and commitment has brought you to this milestone today, and that experience will contribute to your success in the future. You are not only prepared to address the challenges and changes that will confront you in the future, but you are also uniquely poised to be a positive changemaker in our communities. We look forward to watching you fly! On behalf of our Board of Trustees, faculty and staff, please know that we are very proud of you and we have been honored to have you attend Wake Tech. We wish you great future success and fulfillment! Dr. Scott Ralls THE WAKE TECH MACE A mace, once a type of club used in combat, has become a ceremonial staff and a symbol of order and command used by governmental, religious, and higher educational institutions throughout the world. When used in college and university ceremonies, the mace represents the authority and independence of the institution and its faculty. -

The final shot of Willow cradling Tara's corpse will go down in TV history. But that final scene is devastating, particularly the look on Willow's face and Spike, racked with sobs. Faith and Robin Wood enjoy a one-night stand. And yet, the break-up is rough : Remember how cute Willow and Oz were? Past that, "Triangle" breaks up the tension of a season building to a big finish. As in "Flooded," it's just a bummer to see Buffy struggling with making ends meet. Seriously, those demon bikers. Yes, it's another Riley-centric one, but at least here he has a reason to be freaking out. And Buffy and Spike cuddle. But it's really all about cheeky Spike and nutty Dru. Except at the end of the episode, she's killed by Adam, one of the worst villains the show ever gave us. Contner "Things fall apart," Tara says at the end of "Entropy. What better way for Willow and Anya to work out their issues than by joining forces against Anya's ex, a troll named Olaf? And Buffy's heart is broken. -

Passion Script
Passion (January 21, 1998) Written by: Ty King Teaser BLACK: Over which, a VOICE… ANGEL (V.O.) (softly) Passion… FADE UP ON: INT. THE BRONZE - NIGHT The place is teeming with the hip, young, non-speaking extra crowd. WE HEAR MUSIC, MUFFLED CONVERSATIONS and AMBIENT NOISE, but no SPECIFIC DIALOG. On the dance floor, BUFFY shares a "friendly" dance with XANDER as WILLOW and CORDELIA watch from a table. WE CIRCLE around just outside the perimeter of the crowd, always focusing on the sensuously gyrating Slayer on the floor. ALL MOTION SLOWS TO A LANGUID CRAWL (SLO-MO) as we recognize ANGEL, a face in the back of the crowd across the room. From the shadows, he watches Buffy with a fierce intensity, his eyes fixed in an unblinking, unsettling stare. ANGEL (V.O.) …it is born… The rest of the world seems to part as WE BEGIN A SLOW PUSH in on Angel, keeping Buffy in the FOREGROUND. ANGEL (V.O.) …and though uninvited, unwelcome, unwanted… SOMEONE walks by FOREGROUND, WIPING THE SHOT, REVEALING that Angel has vanished. ANGEL (V.O.) …like a cancer, it takes root. CUT TO: EXT. ENTRANCE TO THE BRONZE - (LATER THAT) NIGHT WE STILL HEAR only AMBIENT NOISE and MUFFLED TALK as Buffy and pals exit the Bronze, moving past a COUPLE necking carnally in a dark niche. The couples' Buffy Angel Show passion hides their faces. ANGEL (V.O.) It festers. It bleeds. It scabs… As our gang passes the couple, the FEMALE slides to the ground like a spent rag doll, revealing the MALE to be a "post-suck" Angel in vamp face. -
