The main theme of the 12th AAPD is “The better oral health, the happier daily life”. The AAPD Conference has been held every 2 years among Asian countries. Japan hosted the AAPD twice in Fukuoka (1994) and Okayama (2006) before. This is the third time Japan will host the AAPD and Tokyo (Capital city) was selected as the conference venue. In 2016, we are planning to hold the 12th AAPD as a joint meeting of the 65th JSOH (Japanese Society for Oral Health) conference. The scientific programs are the followings: Keynote speech, Special lectures, Forum, Joint Symposiums, Education seminar, Oral and Poster sessions. All of you may take this great opportunity to freely exchange your innovative thoughts, enhance mutual understanding and further promote research collaborations, thereby contributing to optimal oral and general health of the people we serve. We will also organize welcome reception & cultural night, and Tokyo Bay dinner cruise as social events. In the conference, distinguished international experts as well as renowned local researchers will give us special lectures to share their experiences and knowledge. We would like to discuss the recent research topics about preventive dentistry and contribute to promote oral health among the Asian population. We believe that AAPD would bring a new international perspective on oral health, dental practice and public health politics to Asian communities.

Attempting to do so in a nation that has witnessed fundamental and dynamic change is even more challenging. The Asia Foundation is unique among FOR foreign private organizations in Korea in that it has maintained a presence here for more than 60 years, and, throughout, has responded to the tumultuous and vibrant times by adapting to Korea’s own transformation. The achievement of this balance, CHANGE adapting to changing needs and assisting in the preservation of Korean identity while simultaneously responding to regional and global trends, has made The Asia Foundation’s work in SIX DECADES of Korea singular. More medicine can be produced under the same condition by irradiation of higher beam current in nuclear reaction energy. However, the higher the beam current is, the more heat is generated and target device may melt. This paper predicts whether production is possible at a higher beam current through heat analysis with modeling of 124Xe target device which is gas target. Geometrical structure modeling was used by 3D CAD SolidWorks and analyzed by using COMSOL. We used modeling in spiral way which is a more spacious surface to increase cooling efficiency of cooling water. We analyzed by simulation that target isn’t melted when the beam output of cyclotron 30 is irradiated onto gas target. Keywords: Radiopharmaceuticals, 123I, 124Xe, Cyclotron 1. Introduction Radionuclide production technology utilized in the latest radio immunotherapy is a very important field since this is utilized in treatment and diagnosis of incurable cancer.

This page intentionally left blank A History of the Korean Language A History of the Korean Language is the first book on the subject ever published in English. It traces the origin, formation, and various historical stages through which the language has passed, from Old Korean through to the present day. Each chapter begins with an account of the historical and cultural background. A comprehensive list of the literature of each period is then provided and the textual record described, along with the script or scripts used to write it. Finally, each stage of the language is analyzed, offering new details supplementing what is known about its phonology, morphology, syntax, and lexicon. The extraordinary alphabetic materials of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries are given special attention, and are used to shed light on earlier, pre-alphabetic periods. ki-moon lee is Professor Emeritus at Seoul National University. s. robert ramsey is Professor and Chair in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Maryland, College Park.
