On March 26, Leo High School classes battled for the winning title of class tourney. Currently, class tourney has many different events for both boys and girls. Some of these events include tricycle racing, relay races, eating contests, egg toss, and dodge ball games. Each year the classes use their creativity in designing their class tourney shirts to represent their particular class. This year’s theme for class tourney was cereal mascots. The freshman class chose Lucky Charms. The sophomores decorated their shirts with a Captain Crunch theme. Frosted Flakes were picked by the juniors, and the seniors chose Trix cereal. “Honestly the only part I enjoy is the lip sync,” said junior Madison Circle. “I am just not a very big sports person.” Circle said the lip sync is her favorite part of class tourney and plans to get a big group of her friends together to take over this portion of the competition next year. Circle also said that Leo seniors smile after winning Class Tourney.
