Retold The Classic Story Hansel and Gretel, are abandoned by their father and in the woods because there is no food to feed them. The siblings find house made of gingerbread. After eating some of the house, they are captured by its owner, a wicked witch who lures children to her home so she can eat them. Using cleverness and luck, Hansel and Gretel defeat the witch by shoving her into her own oven, and escape the forest with their lives.
