The Toronto fee has been discounted by almost $1,500 USD as a result of local fundraising: we are grateful to the generosity of Toronto donors who are trying to make this program more affordable for young adults. Participants living outside of Toronto are encouraged to contact their local Jewish Federation to ask if there are any subsidies available in their community.

4. WHAT DOES THE COST OF THE TRIP INCLUDE? The cost of the program covers airfare to and from Toronto, hotels, meals, gratuities and ground transportation. Costs are based on double occupancy; the cost of a single supplement is an additional cost available upon request.

5. ARE THERE SUBSIDIES AVAILABLE? Unfortunately, we do not have the funds to provide subsidies to young adults. Different community organizations offer incentives and grants to local participants. We encourage you to reach out to your local Jewish Federation and/or synagogue to see if they offer a scholarship to participate on the March of the Living. We will work with participants to have flexible payment plans if the current one is not feasible. Participants can divide up payments as much as they would like – weekly, monthly, etc. – as long as the trip is paid in full by March 16th, 2019.

6. CAN I MAKE ROOM REQUESTS? Yes! Please make sure to indicate who you would like to room with in the Friend Request section. 8. CAN I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION BEFORE THE DEADLINE? Participants will be accepted to the trip on a rolling basis based on when their completed application is received, and the mandatory video call has been completed. We encourage applicants to submit their application as early as possible to secure their spot. If we receive more applicants than we have spots, we will place applicants on a waiting list.

9. WHAT IF I ATTENDED THE MOL AS A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT? You are still eligible to apply. If we have more applicants than availability, priority will be granted to participants who have never been before.

10. WHAT IF I CANNOT SECURE A DOCTOR’S APPOINTMENT BEFORE THE DEADLINE? You must take all the necessary steps to obtain an appointment by the deadline. Please contact the office with your scheduled appointment if it is following the November 1st, 2019 deadline. Please upload the form immediately following the physician examination. The clinic you usually frequent when you are sick should have your most up to date information. Please contact them.
