Het Type 8-1200 is in 1951 uit de productie genomen en opgevolgd door de Simca Aronde. Wielbasis 2.420 m Spoorbreedte 1.231 m Carrosserie De carrosserie is een geheel stalen, niet zelfdragende carrosserie met Prestaties aangebouwde kofferruimte die van buitenaf bereikbaar is. Er bevindt zich Topsnelheid 118 km /h in de kofferruimte een speciaal mechanisme voor het naar buiten schuiven van het reservewiel. Ook bijzonder zijn de portieren zonder middenstijl bij Acceleratie 350 km (normaal) het sedan model. De Simca 8 heeft ventilatieraampjes in de voorportieren, doorlopende bumpers en extra grote sierdoppen. 2.8 liter, SAE 40 (bij Inhoud carter: +10 tot +35). Elektrische uitrusting. De Simca 8 heeft losse koplampen met gecombineerde stadslichten. U Brandstofsysteem: Inhoud tank 35 liter vindt de parkeerlichten achter aan de carrosserie boven de achterschermen. Hij heeft dubbele achterlichten, nummerplaatverlichting in combinatie met stoplicht en richtingaanwijzers die ingebouwd zijn. De Simca 8 heeft een enkele claxon en dubbelwerkende ruitenwissers. .
