MF/EG SEANCE DU 14 MAI 2007 2007/7795 - CONVENTION DE MISE A DISPOSITION DU STADE DE GERLAND CONCLUE ENTRE LA VILLE DE LYON ET L'ASSOCIATION OLYMPIQUE LYONNAIS POUR L'ORGANISATION DU JUBILE SONNY ANDERSON, LE 11 JUIN 2007 (DIRECTION DES SPORTS) Le Conseil Municipal, Vu le rapport en date du 2 mai 2007 par lequel M. le Maire expose ce qui suit : “Le Brésilien Sonny Anderson, ancien avant-centre de l’équipe professionnelle de l’Olympique Lyonnais (OL), va fêter son jubilé le lundi 11 juin 2007 au stade de Gerland. Vingt ans après ses premiers buts sur les terrains de football, il a souhaité réunir tous ceux qui ont compté dans son parcours sportif : entraîneurs, joueurs en activité ou non, présidents de clubs, arbitres, et bien évidemment les supporters. Sonny Anderson a été à la pointe de l’attaque de l’OL pendant quatre ans, de 1999 à 2003. Joueur emblématique, il se révéla le grand attaquant qui hissa le club vers les sommets (Champion de France en 2002, après avoir remporté la Coupe de la Ligue en 2001). Dans un entretien accordé à un quotidien régional, Sonny Anderson a indiqué que son jubilé constituera « la clôture d’une carrière réussie, une façon de rendre quelque chose aux gens qui ont compté pour lui et l’occasion de faire une grande fête ». Deux équipes seront opposées lors de ce match amical : celle du titre de l’OL en 2002, dirigée par Jacques Santini et Bernard Lacombe et celle des « amis » du joueur brésilien, encadrée par Jean Tigana et Paul Le Guen. Une soixantaine de joueurs, encore en activité ou non, participeront à cette manifestation parmi lesquels Ronaldinho et Thierry Henry. L’objectif est d’honorer Sonny Anderson pour sa carrière de joueur (de l’OL notamment !) et d’en faire une soirée caritative avec un reversement d’1 euro par billet au profit de l’Association Huntington (qui lutte contre la maladie génétique neurodégénérative). Je souhaite que les installations du stade de Gerland soient mises gracieusement à la disposition de l’Association « Olympique Lyonnais » pour le bon déroulement de ce jubilé. Il est donc nécessaire d’établir une convention de gratuité de mise à disposition du stade de Gerland, la valeur de cette mise à disposition étant équivalente à 35 000 €.» 2007/7795 2 Vu ladite convention ; Vu l’avis émis par le Conseil du 7e arrondissement ; Ouï l’avis de sa Commission Jeunesse et Sports ; DELIBERE 1. En service depuis le mardi 8 janvier 2019 après 6 mois de travaux, le terrain bénéficie d’un éclairage LED et sera doté de 4 nouveaux vestiaires dont les travaux d’installation ont débuté il y a peu. Afin de tenir compte des interrogations qui ont été émises quant aux conséquences des terrains synthétiques sur la santé, la composition du terrain a été entièrement modifiée afin de n’être faite qu’en fibre et billes de PVC, matériau plus coûteux mais qui garantit l’absence de risque. Cet équipement sera bien entendu utilisé par l’Association du Football Virois (Nationale 3) mais également par l’ensemble des associations sportives consacrées à la pratique du football et par les enfants scolarisés à Vire Normandie dans le cadre des temps d’activité périscolaire. Les équipements du stade Pierre-Compte ne permettaient pas d’accompagner les activités de partenaires de la collectivité dans le cadre de la mise en place de projets sportifs dont l’activité support est le football.
